I'm very quiet, soft-spoken and a little shy. Usually don't initiate conversations. At work, if I see my coworkers, I usually smile and give them almost an almost unnoticeable wave - like I'll lift my hand to cheek level and move my fingers slightly up and down. It's definitely not an extravagant wave, just a very small one, probably almost unnoticeable. I'll rarely actually say hi to people though - think it has to do with the shyness. But I'm worried about people thinking that I'm rude or making fun of me. I waved to this one girl I work with today - she usually smiles at me when I do this.

If you worked with me, what would you think? Would you think I was rude because I didn't actually verbalize a "hello"? Would you make fun of me when I wasn't around? Do you think it's obvious to them that I'm a little shy?

I have a usb keyboard. It always worked fine, but this time, when i started my computer, my keyboard won't respond when I try to type my password on the windows users logon. The keyboard works well (like safemode button, etc) until the login screen appears, then it stops working. I already tried with another keyboard. Still the same problem. Any solutions?

My wife is a mid-level professional in a Fortune 500 company. She believes that she isn't very skilled at picking out the right outfits for herself that work best with her body, hair color, etc. She also thinks she needs help with makeup and hairstyle, etc...

Sounds to me like she needs an image consultant of some sort to help her. Where would I seek out such a person and what kind of credentials would you look for? I want to help her out. We live in the Minneapolis area. Suggestions?

I have alot of hijackers and virus on my computer that I really need to get rid of. I have norton anti virus but it wont pick them up. I had to download spydoctor, but it only scans, it wont remove unless I buy the product online. Any ideas?! Ive done this before on a lesser scale, but my friends are pressuring me to go all the way with it. I know that I will have to shave my legs, so i want to have some sort of costume to show off the amount of things i will be doing. these iclude shaving my legs, wearing some sort of shoes, makeup and whatnot, are there any suggestions on attire or how the makeup and accessories will make this better? anything goes this year so i can get back to normal costumes for guys. so any suggestions are welcome, and appreciated

we cleaned a penny, and put it in a sodium hydroxide-zinc mixture over a bunsen burner. it turned silver. then we took it out, and just held it over the flame with tongs, and it turned gold.
Here are some questions i have:

1. did the copper change to gold? explain. (i put no, and my reasoning was "you told us it wasn't"...i didn't actually know)
2. what intensive property could be used to prove your explanation? (i dont know this either)
3. list 1 extensive and 1 intensive property of the token
4. the last change formed an alloy, was the last change physical or chemical?
5. did the last change form a compound, mixture, or new element?
6. what was the final product? ( i think its brass but idk)

i need help figuring these out, but i would like a good explanation so im actually learning something

My boyfriend's ex girlfriend stuck him with about 15k in debt that she's refusing to pay for. Credit cards that she maxed out without his knowledge, a mattress that the took & stopped paying for, a washer and dryer that she stole out of his house, carpet that needed to be replaced because her dogs destroyed it, unpaid rent for nearly a year (we live in another state and couldn't very easily force her out of the house).
All of these things she's made previous payments on and acknowledged responsibility for, but after we kicked her out, she stopped paying on them. We're trying to avoid the inter-state court hassle. Can we send her to a collection agency?

You know when you eat a lot over the weekend and your stomach actually looks bigger and you know that you've stretched out your actual stomach because you've eaten so much? Well that happened to me. I've gained like 3 pounds. And my weight keeps going up and down. I haven't danced since before the summer and my dance studio just got a new building and its not ready yet but i have been exercising because I jog like 2 miles. I used to weigh 105 and now i keep going from 110 to 113 i don't get it. I need a way to shrink my stomach and not look so bloated! I feel horrible. Mostly its my stomach thats out of shape. I need to tone up my abs and mostly not be so bloated looking. I want to be like smaller you know not just more toned. What sort of diet can i go on that will make my weight not only go but stay down and make me look smaller and what exercises can i do for my stomach??

Ok right, a week ago, my laptop fell over on a table and the charging port broke, i had to send it into dell, they fixed it, and it arrived back two days ago.

I noticed now there is a new problem, when i close the laptop lid, it will not stand by, when it is in stand by and i open the lid, it will not turn on.

I checked power options in control panel, and everything seems fine.

What is this problem? Can i solve it?
