Yes and last year when it was hotter than Haiti it was running and we were still sweating bullets.
Upon close inspection the next day found it was on the WINTER setting- pushing all the hot air down on us.

3 - one in the dining room, and one in each bedroom..as hot as it is where I live, everyone has ceiling fans. You know, you have a great point there - bigger blades to circulate better. These fans were already here, so, I suppose I could go shopping..
