i have been applying to multiple places to get a credit card in order to build more credit. however i have been denied due to lack of credit. i am only going to use it once or twice a month and pay it off immediately.

well i finally found a place(sears/kmart) that will approve me for a credit card. the only problem is that i really don't do a lot of shopping at these stores, so i was wondering what is the minimum i would have to spend and repay each month on my credit card for it to contribute to my credit rating?
for instance could i just go in there once a month and buy a pack of gum with credit card, pay it back, and have it help my credit score?

thanks

Your choices can be from people who are either dead or alive.

Please explain why you chose the people you did.

I tried to defend myself against a Temporary Restraining Order (TOR) and did not do a very good job in getting my side of the events before the judge, forgot to ask a few questions of the witness that would have brought some details to light and failed to sum up my position at the end of the hearing. Needless to say I am not an Attorney and did not know what I was doing or what to expect. Now that I have a TOR filed against me for the next 3 years is it possible to hire an attorney and challenge the original ruling against me?

I came up with these, but feel free to add your own.

Drink coasters.

Mini Frisbees.

Use up to three for leveling an uneven table.

A diaphram (for a large woman...she can still get preggo, but now you have to hit the bullseye for it to happen).

Christmas tree ornaments.

Clay pigeons for target practice.

Strap razors on them and fling them at the neighborhood kids.

Place one on your middle finger shiny side up. Now you can flip someone the bird and blind them, all at the same time.

Take two of them and make them into ear rings.

Place 7,395 of them on your roof and fool the neighbors into thinking you have solar power.

My husband and I have a very healthy sex life. We have and enjoy watching porn from time to time. I noticed after some time that our DVD's were missing, and eventually found them in my 10 yr old sons room. They are usually locked in a safe, but I must have forgotten to lock it the last I accessed it. After the 1st incident, my husband threw all the DVD's away, and I yelled at my son for snooping and basically told him porn was "bad" which I know now was the wrong explanation. Yesterday, when I was cleaning his room, I found another DVD hidden under his mattress-it was another one of ours but missed it. I didn't say anything the second time. I don't want to badger my son, I know its my fault for not protecting him from it in the first place. I want him to have a healthy sex life and not look at sex as "dirty". I remember being exposed to sex on several occasions at a very young age and still remember the images. How do I talk to my son about this and explain it correctly?

I have been harvesting orange tomatoes from my plants and I have more than I can use up. I don't want to freeze or can them. What can I do to prolong the life of them. How should I store them. I have been picking them off of the vine when they start turning orange.

in the new world translation of the holy scriptures, if you compare john 1:1 (where the jehovahs witnesses changed the scripture to note Jesus as simply "a god". )
How do you justify Isaiah 9:6 when Jesus was called "Mighty God" and "Eternal Father".....

notice the CAPITAL "G"
I know how jw's are sticklers for complete accurate knowledge.

and...i have a feeling that some of you will try to back this up by saying that he is not called the "Almighty God" as jehovah would be called....but in Isaiah 10:21 God is only refered to as Mighty. (upper case "M")
& in Jeremiah 32:18 God is refered to as mighty (lower case "m" )

so....if Mighty means lesser, then technically Jehovah would be concidered lesser right?

this is a serious question here please

There is a saying - As you sow, so shall you reap. A man is supposed to have the good or bad results for the right and wrong deeds done by him.

I have known a man for the last 14 years, who always keeps insulting others. He abuses and harasses others for none of their fault but I have not seen any bad results on him. He and his family is flourishing.

Could you explain the reason behind it? Are some persons exceptions to the universal rule of deeds and results? How would you explain it?
