i have a s-video port on my computer i hook into the tv and
nothing happen . i checked the connection its hooked to the
input on the tv .is there a program or something i have to
have to get it to work

yes there is a program u need, plus there is a cable u need to buy

You have to change a setting in the laptop settings, probably the Display area, to share or transfer the output.

You need to go into your video card and change your output to Monitor 2. If you are running Vista it should do it automatically.
