99% of the time NO. I use my foot or get some tp so I don't have to touch it. I always, always wash really, really good after using a public toilet, and use a paper towel to open the door and then hold the door open with my foot if I am with someone so they don't have to touch the door, like a friend or family member. I push the entry door open with my forearm when entering a public restroom.

no dont ever use your bare hands to flush the toilet use your foot and dont sit on the toilet either
