we are having a boy and are going to name him KYRIS. i cant find the name meaning anywhere....would anyone know or are we lucky and found something really original. she is in the ninth grade and once, i was on the phone with her after she had finished four beers, a bottle of vodka, and two mixed drinks. she tells her parents that she has a horrible headache and she takes a shower and gets into bed, brushing her teeth twice so that they can't smell the liquor on her breath. i want to help her, but i just don't know how. we've been best friends since the third grade, and i don't want to lose her friendship. her parents and i aren't that close, and i don't want them to think i'm lying. i'm not sure what to do anymore, and i really want to make sure she's okay. please help me figure out what to do.

I have a bearded dragon, and for a while now we've been using a type of sand that is very powdery. It clumps all together when she spills her water dish, AND it gets all over her, leaving her powdery! The sand we hand before that was red and powdery, and it left her covered in red powder and herfood dish ruined! Can someone reccommend me a easy-to-care-for substance I can put in her cage?

For three and a half months now I have had terrible writer's block and decided just to not think about it because I was getting frustrated. Now I want to start writing again, but my english class doesn't start until after winter and I am afraid my flow and descriptive manner (I felt that my style was finally coming along) and I will write short, choppy, sentences. I haven't tried yet because I am still planning. Also, I don't know where to start! Anyway where I could get back into novel writing? I am so lost and confused and I need to write!

im about to graduate high school and i want to join the USMC. i want to become an officer in the marines eventually, but im thinking about becoming an NCO first, based on the fact that alot marines told me that i would get more experiencem respect, and i would be a better officer that way. HOw long would it take me to reach the rank of Sergeant? and Staff Sergeant after that?? i took 2 years of rotc in high school ( technically 4 years because our classes are twice as long as most) will that make any difference?

At the moment I am training for my PPL (H) license. I have just been wondering what jobs would be available to myself. Hopefully I want to continue on and train for my ATPL (H). What jobs full time would be available to myself once I get my license, not my PPL license but my ATPL (H).

Also what jobs would there be, were I actually take people up in a helicopter for like transport just like airplanes would transport people from airport to airport.

I am at the end of my rope with my husband. He says he doesn't love me, doesn't want me, that he can't stand me... but that he wants to make our marriage work. I cannot live like this anymore! I know we are headed for divorce. We have two children together and I am due in a few weeks with our 3rd child. I have been a stay at home mother most of our married life and obviously cannot support myself right now at 9 months pregnant. I want sole custody of my kids with child support and alimony. Will I get this in court? Or do I need to hire a lawyer to help me fight for it? I have proof that my husband has basically checked out of this marriage and is just dragging me and the kids through the mud because he can't make up his mind what he wants in life. He has also had 5 affairs (we were on Dr. Phil) and been physically absent most of our marriage. Do I need a lawyer or will the judge side with me regardless?

Here is the scenario: There is a 6 mile race. Here are the two contestants and their speeds. Who won?

Mary: 3 miles at 6mph and 3 miles at 3mph
Steve: all 6 miles at 4 mph

The answer is that they tie. But the question I am having a hard time explaining is, why can't you figure Mary's overall speed by just taking her average speed (4 1/2 mph)? I know how to work the problem, I am not sure how to explain why this does not work without just showing an example. Any better explanations?

Mary: 3/6+3/3=1 1/2 hr
Steve: 6/4=1 1/2 hr

Why can't you figure Mary is faster by averaging her speed and saying it is r=(6+3)/2=4.5mph and therfore she is faster than Steve?
