At some point, someone merely rewrote the words of Ezekial 32: Lament over Pharaoh and Egypt which appears differently depending on the bible.

New International Version:

7 When I snuff you out, I will cover the heavens
and darken their stars;
I will cover the sun with a cloud,
and the moon will not give its light.

8 All the shining lights in the heavens
I will darken over you;
I will bring darkness over your land,
declares the Sovereign LORD.

English Standard Version

(N) When I blot you out,(O) I will cover the heavens
and make their stars dark;
I will cover the sun with a cloud,
and the moon shall not give its light.
8All the bright lights of heaven
will I make dark over you,
and(P) put darkness on your land,
declares the Lord GOD.

Contemporary English Version

7 I will cover the whole sky and every star with thick clouds, so that the sun and moon will stop shining. 8 The heavens will become black, leaving your country in total darkness. I, the LORD, have spoken.

There is also light imagery in John 1:5.

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it."

Positive attitude. Imagine you're in a room. And someone switches off the lights. What would you do? Switch it on again, right. It's the same way. You create darkness, and then make light to destroy it. Look at the world in a positive way, the light n the world. You will find the change in your own life. It all comes down to positive attitude, the ultimate spiritual and mental tubelight. Meditation helps a lot in calming down the mind. Just like a coin has two sides, so does any situation in life. If you look at the positive side, there will be no depression. Be happy. Yoga also helps, by way of improving the breathing. This provides oxy-rich blood to the brain, improving the quality of thinking.

All the online references I can find say "Source Unknown" or words to that effect, and it doesn't ring any bells in my memory. Sorry.
