Tested compression, 100+ psi easy. Have dismantled and cleaned carby twice! It's a Tillotson carby, blew through all its passages, fuel is definitely reaching cylinder because of smell and fuel on spark plug. Tested spark, it sparks regularly, but I have no way of knowing if spark timing is right. I'm using a new spark plug and new fuel. So I have fuel, spark and compression, it just won't fire. Even pouring fuel into carby there is only some very slight sign of firing. What's my obvious mistake? Is there some thing I've missed?

I have always had crappy radio reception in my Subraru Forester. If I drive just five miles from the city, I can't get most of the FM stations. In other cars I can keep a signal for my favorite radio station for up to two hours outside of the city, but not in my Forester. Is this a design flaw with the Subraru, has anyone else noticed this? Is it fixable? I took it the mechanic and he told me that it would be $100 just to find out what the problem is, but if it can't be fixed, I don't want to waste the money.

How many of you have hubbys that have jobs outside the home, that they go to 8 hours a day with a maybe 1 hour commute at most each way? How many of those husbands tell you that you have an easy job? How many of them don't realize that they clock out of their job when they leave to come home and you can never clock out? There is always laundry to be done. There is always rooms to clean. Dishes to be washed. Floors that need to be cleaned. Bathrooms that always seem to need to be cleaned. I am a mother of 3 children, ages 5 and under. I am constantly the nurse, the teacher, the playmate, the chauffeur, the maid, the cook, the police officer etc. I don't clock out at 4:30 and don't get to put down my duties at the end of an 8 hour day. I am often up in the middle of the night with sick or scared children. Children who have had wet of their bed (so therefore doing laundry at 3 in the morning) you get the picture here.
Want to give them one of those V8 type smacks in da head?

something a little upbeat would be nice. it's for a picture slideshow, and i don't want to put people to sleep in it. it has to have NO LYRICS. i know there are a bunch of songs like "american soldier" but i can't use them, has to be orchestra, symphony, whatever you want to call it.

i've listened to the soundrtacks of saving private ryan and thin red line, boooooring. i need something that can keep someone interested for three and a half to four minutes.

What's wrong in this sentence?
I used to holding(wrong, choice of word or part of speech) a party on my birthday every year but this year, when my mother asked me if I wanted to hold a birthday party, I said no.

what's wrong with "holding"?

I have had verizon DSL for 3 or so months and never had any issuses all of the sudden I started getting static on the phone lines then this morning whenever I went to pick up the phone my internet droped. I have one line in the house, from the wall jack I have the 1-for-1 adapter on one side I have the internet cord and on the other I have a DSL Filter going to another 2-for-1 adapter and two phone lines in that. That way did not start giving me issuses up unto afew days ago. When I unplug the internet phone line the static goes away, and when someone uses the phone the Internet Dropes.

Verizon Tech support said the the filter went bad, I tryed all five that they sent me when You first get the service and I still get the static, they said it could be a bad pack and wanted me to order more.

Does anyone think that this is it or it is something else?

It does not make sense for all years its been Sunday, I mean Saturday Evening is considered the "Vigil" mass and Sunday is considered the "liturgy" And people are saying Sunday is the beginning of the week, which i think is false - there is no eight day which everyone is saying. The church is always saying its Sunday, same with catechists. Priests even say it. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I see all these supposedly brilliant comments about Craig, and he deserves them for what he did, but how about the (did)Honorable Jim McGreevey who was carrying on a homosexual love affair behind the backs of his wife and children while Governor of New Jersey? Where were all the cutsie remarks then? Do you suppose that they think what he did was OK?

I live in a new development by woods. Me and my friends claim there's a yeti that lives in them, angry because we've been taking away it's home. This rumor started last fall when I was walking my dog by the woods. Sticks crunched and I saw something big and white, maybe eight feet tall, moving around there. My dog saw it too, he was trying to pull toward it. I panicked and pulled him away from there. I told my mom it might have been a big dog, with a loss for anything else to say, but it was way too big.

My friend who lives a street away said he saw it in the same woods, very close to where I saw it.

His cousin, who lives on the same street as him, said he saw it on their three acre woods eating a rabbit.

The earth's magnetic field strength was measured by Carl Friedrich Gauss in 1835 and has been repeatedly measured since then, showing an exponential decay with a half-life of about 1400 years. This could also be stated as a relative decay of about 10% to 15% over the last 150 years. What would be some of the changes say if we went back in time 1400 years. Also look into the future, what will it hold for us in 1400 years?
