ive got 3ft aquarium which now has 2 angels,1 plec,9 tiger barbs,1 silver shark, and couple of pearl danios in. got my temp at 26c now. im stryggling with the ph it was 5. i went to buy my fav fish the pictus catfish when the man informed me that it and the rest of my fish will die very soon as my ph is 5 and that my filter has stoped working to. he told me to add 1 teaspoon of bi carbonate of soda for every 1 gallon and recheck. it states 5.5-6now. what do i do add it again till it reaches 7 or what? please help as i really want to go back and get the pictus it was sooooo nice!!

I have been on metformin consistently for about 5 months or so, and have noticed that I am having a harder time exercising than I ever have before (i.e. I tire out easily and feel like I'm going to throw up). I am in the military, so obviously it's mandatory that I stay in shape. It's to the point now where I can barely run half a mile without feeling the urge to toss my cookies. Does anyone have a similar case? If so, what can I do about it?

ok im about 20-30 lbs overweight

(13. 180lbs 5'7")

im not eating school lunches anymore im going to take
a bottle of water/green tea, a granola bar/ham sandwhich with one slice of bread somedays, and some grapes/other fruit for lunch.

for breakfast i am going to drink a homade smoothie. (consists of frozen friut and lowfat yogert)

and for supper i will probably just eat whatever my parents eat (usually a meat. which i only take a little of, a vegetable(usually corn, peas, eggplant, squash, etc..) and sometimes potatoes.and then for desert usually some kind of fruit.

does this diet sound good to you?


for exercise i usually run with my neighbor (close to my age) we go about a mile.

i need a better exercise plan though. i will still do that but i need to do more on my own. any ideas?

My nephew is VERY bright and at one time wanted to get into computer gaming design... Now I'm noticing that he is picking up his father's lazy ways. His dad doesnt work and does nothing but play video games and watch dvds all day. (My sister has a very good paying job)

Now he wants to put off college and try flipping houses. This is not a viable career move because in our area and many others, there are more people fallling into the foreclosure trap than actually purchasing houses....

Help!

P.S. He is a whiz at a science and math...

I am putting this in this catagory because a person who answered the same question as I did accused me in his answer off copying his answer. I did not copy, when I went to answer the question only one had answered, by the time I answered it there were 4 others when my answer popped up. You need to sir to take that into consideration. I have been to many questions that it looks like everyone coppied. So I guess my question is this does anyone else get offended to know that another person knows the answer to a question you know too. I think it is great that people will choose to answer for the points and possibly the best even tho it matches anothers. I do not answer a question if the answer is already there.

Ok i have been trying to lose weight for a while now.... but lately ive noticed i just dont eat ill have like a bite of pizza or a bite of an apple every now and then.......i play a lot of sports so me doing this is very bad it can hurt me so i need help and answers...... someone give me a diet that i can lose a ton of weight on withought starving myself........or excecise plan........

I had an abortion yesterday. I was 10 weeks and 1 day along. It was the most painful and uncomfortable thing i have ever done in my entire life... and yet i don't regret it. i didn't know who the father was, it was either my just-turned-16 boyfriend or a guy that raped me while i was drunk. I made a mistake in accidentally... well... making embryotic tissues.
I just want to know if I'm the only one that doesn't regret the decision i made. I wanted to keep it... but i'm just too young. My bf is too young. The situation was f***ed up. I mourn for the loss of a life, but know that the life of something that hadn't even started wasn't worth the destruction of two other lives. does anyone agree?

My mum and nanna dont really get on very well but we all live together because i am disabled. I am starting college on wednesday and get paid £30 a week. My mum said to me, when u start on wednesday can u pay for ur dinner just for that day and then i will give it u back when u come home and i said yeah because i know i will get it back and she doesnt get paid untill wednesday. My mum just went to the shop and my nanna came in and said to me, dont let your mum make you pay for your own dinner on wednsday she gets enough for you! so i said to her why are u bothered if im not, i said i no im going to get it back. but she is annoying me so much lately, im 16 and my mum gives me £10 a week but i also get paid £90 a week, and if my mum is 1 day late with my spends my nanna starts goin on saying that she has enough money to give it me. i think im too old for spends now anyway coz im 16 and getting paid. My nanna getting involved causes so many arguments!

I have a Fujifilm Finepix S6500fd Camera and have a memory card installed. However I cannot find anywhere to tell me how to safetly remove the card from the camera. The last time I just took it out it corrupted all of the pics on it. I have reformatted the card but now have new pics which I cannot remove by uploading onto the PC at present as I am on holiday and need to change the card for an empty one. Help!
