Most of you have used steel cooking pots, exposed to gas
flames, or even an open campfire.

Some of you have even tried oxy-acetylene or arc welding,
to heat up steel to its melting point.

So what do you observe when you heat up steel below its
melting point?

Does it explode violently, or does it simply behave like weak

We just adopted A puppy from a local shelter and she's biting my dog and nipping at me . What is the best thing to do to stop her from biting more. The more I tell her no the more she bites. When that happens I put her in her kennel to calm her down. Is this the right thing to do? I want to stop this fast before it happens again because next time it could be my son. Please Help.

I can't face it, I feel so paranoid. Ok, so I dress sceneish, yet I feel so inadiquate in stores like h&m, urban outfitters, etc. In the male section, I can just about handle looking in there for 10-15 minutes, but quite a lot of my hoodies are female hoodies and I just don't have the balls to look. ****, it takes me an hour to find the balls to even enter the store.

When I walk in, people look me up and down, and I don't like that, so I give them a "wtf are you looking at" stare back, then I get looked at even more.

Wtf can I do about this?

I can't even find the right catagory for this question, so **** it, I'm gonna post it here, even tho its not directly related to fashion, who gives a ****?

I've just read in the news that Duke Prosecutor, Mike Nifong, was sentenced to jail for lying to the judge. Even when this prosecutor knew that the three Duke University lacrosse players were innocent. He deliberately tried to mislead the judge and get these guys convicted.

But what puzzles me is why the woman who falsely accused these players is getting off scott free?

She lied just as much and just as badly as the prosecutor did. And yet only the prosecutor is in trouble with the law and she is not. This doesn't seem fair to me.

My niece invited herself to come stay with me and after two days I'm going bonkers. I live in a small apartment and she's taken over my living room - I feel like a prisoner in my own home. I have dropped hints that she should go stay with another friend of hers in town who has a big house and she could sleep in a bed instead of on my couch - but she seems clueless when I tell her she should go stay there. I feel like turning off the a/c and telling her it's broke to get her to leave! I didn't invite her - she invited herself. I didn't fix dinner tonight and have not offered to entertain her. She doesn't seem to be getting the hints! She just sits on my couch staring at the tv. She's not easy to talk to and doesn't seem to want to budge. Any advice?

Christians, suppose you're sitting at home reading the bible and the voice of God says, in your head, that you must kill your first born child in order to prove your faith.

Now, suppose you heard on the news that a man killed his wife and children because "God told him to." Do you believe it?

Now, let's take it a step further. Let's say that your neighbor hears from God, and God tells your neighbor to kill you and your family in order to prove his faith. When your neighbor bursts through your door with a shotgun telling you he's sorry, but the Lord has spoken and you all must die, do you go willingly, or do you try to get away? Do you just accept that your neighbor says that God said you must die, or do you need proof?

I'm not saying that your neighbor is going to kill you, I'm asking how do you determine whether or not something that is said about God is true? Do you just believe it all, or do you need proof?
