I like my Springfield XDs. I have two of them. One is a 9mm ported model and the second is the .45ACP Tactical. Both are smooth shooting, accurate as hell, I love the visual safeties (load indicator, striker indicator) then the added grip safety (unlike the Glock). They also look good and are fairly inexpensive.

Currently, I own three handguns and have test fired multiple others. Out of the handguns I own, the Glock 19 is my favorite, as it was my very first handgun, I've used it the longest, it hasn't had a single misfire, and I am the most accurate with it. However, I'm growing quite fond of my Ruger Sp101 and who knows, if my accuracy improves then I might consider this one my favorite. As for handguns I do not own but really want to get, a Kimber 1911, a Browning Hi Power Mark III, and an H&K USP all top my list, but I wouldn't call any of them my favorite until I've actually owned one.
