I can't face it, I feel so paranoid. Ok, so I dress sceneish, yet I feel so inadiquate in stores like h&m, urban outfitters, etc. In the male section, I can just about handle looking in there for 10-15 minutes, but quite a lot of my hoodies are female hoodies and I just don't have the balls to look. ****, it takes me an hour to find the balls to even enter the store.
When I walk in, people look me up and down, and I don't like that, so I give them a "wtf are you looking at" stare back, then I get looked at even more.
Wtf can I do about this?
I can't even find the right catagory for this question, so **** it, I'm gonna post it here, even tho its not directly related to fashion, who gives a ****?

The best bed would be to go with other people, problem is, I'm always alone, I have no friends and no opportunities to meet people.

You seem pissed...So your long story short is you wear girl's hoodies? It's alright I find guy's hoodies a bit more comfortable after wearing my bro's clothes for a school presentation. But you never said anything about yourself having a brother or sister. If you have a bro, then ya, go look through clothes with him. If you have a sis, then don't bother looking through girl's clothes because you can always "borrow" hers.

No, no, no! Don't ever feel ashamed to go into a store, ever. You have your own style, so rock it! Who cares what other people think. Style innovators have to go against the crowd, no? I shop in the guys' section sometimes. So what? I think you'll also find that people aren't staring at you because of the way you look, but because of your uncomfortable manner when you walk in.
So shoulders back, and let the ghost of a smile play on your face. Really, don't stare them back. You're better than that. Shop in the girls' section, if you want. The people that work there- do you know them? Will you see them again? No. So just ignore their stupidity, and enjoy shopping.

You should try finding out what is making you feel so unconfident-whether its your hair style, personality, or visage. Once you know the source of the problem, it's easier to fix it.
Remember that when people look at you, it doesn't mean they think you look bad, they may even be admiring you.
If all else fails, you could order your clothes online.

Just find a store that you like, go in, and dont care waht people think. I used to have the same problem. If you have n e one you trust or like, ask them to go to the mall so you dont feel as wierd in the stores with them around

Most kids that are "scene" judge other "scene" kids
So when they look at you pretend you are better than that..
you like your girl hoodies? Than rock them..what are you afraid of. You want to wear them dont you?
Pretend your confident in what your wearing and everybody else will be looking at you and saying wow that kid has style maybe i should be wearing those girl hoodies :]

Why not just shop on line then.. If you don't have a credit card then get a prepaid credit card.. Then you wont feel no one judging you.. besides you shouldn't care what people think.. I sometimes shop in the men department.. Who give a **** of what you are buying..

Don't be afraid. You got style and u need to flaunt it. get more self confidence in who u r cause u work the scene, and u deserve more credit than u give yourself, and really as long as u think it is hot, it is and who cares what the other pre-madonna's think. hope this helps

ahh what?? haha when i saw your question like just the question part i was like wtf is this person like afraid of the world???!? yea ok not a problem i think you should just go to the store really early like right when it opens because most shoppers go in at like noonish or in the afternoon unless they are going on like a monster shopping spree or if there is like a huge sale at the store which usually at H&M and forever doesnt happen very often actually neverr happens, so ya just go in right when the store opens and if people look at you say WHAT THE FF are you looking at haha just kidding lol just say im buying this for my girlfriend. simple as that! hope this helped!
