The nationalist Swiss People's party (SVP), which shares power in the governing coalition, has proposed new legislation that would see entire families of immigrants deported if their children are convicted of crimes involving violence, drugs or benefit fraud.

Sounds like a good idea to me, should we try this in the UK? Official Swiss police figures shows foreigners are four times more likely to commit crime then swiss nationals. Check out the statistics at the bottom of the link. It wouldn't surprise me in the slighest in the figures are similar in the UK.

I'm an LDS girl, and very proud of it. But I go to a relatively bad school--there are several kids who do drugs and drink (or at least claim they do), a few kids are in gangs, and most everyone swears and talks about sex. I at least have friends in my Young Women's group, but in school I'm pretty much all alone because I don't want to talk about those things, much less engage in them. Help?

I'm looking to put a sliding gate (3' x 3') in the entry way of an elevated deck. I am thinking top and bottom "weatherproof" sliding railings, any ideas about how to approach this? Any websites you can recommend? Any particular type or brand of metal railings I should use? so my ex-boyfriend was always worried that i was going to cheat. he would get mad if i went out and drank cause he thought that i would have some uncontrollable urge. i would never cheat on anyone even if i drank or what not. well low and behold, he got drunk one night and cheated on me (slept with some random girl). my question is, do you think that they are saying they are worried about you cheating when in fact, they think they themselves are going to cheat? i mean i usually only hear about people being so worried when they end up cheating themselves.

my lil sister who is 14 lives with me. she always hangs about with older people (all under the age of 30) She also meets up with people that she meets online. Recently she met a 34 year old man online. He kept asking 2 meet her and stuff. but before he had a chance 2 persuade her they "accidently" met eachother in the street one day. since then hes become obsessed with her. he stalks her. and hes even found out where we live. he keeps asking her 2 go back 2 his house and 2 meet up with him and stuff like that. its been going on 4 a month now. i have tried 2 be resonable with him and give him a chance 2 back off but hes horrible! the last major incident was thursday night when me and him ended up in a fight. he came round the house and tried 2 kill me because i wouldnt let them have any contact with eachother. hes threatening 2 do all sorts if i get the police involved and i know he is capable of it. what should i do?my sis doesnt want anythin 2 do with him but he wont leave her alone

ok, i might have asked a few questions on this, but anyway,

I am 5ft 6" and 8st 2lbs (52kg) BMI 19.5
Can i lose weight by:

cycling for 30mins every day
eating an apple, bannana and/or some grapes as snacks
cheese sandwich with crisps for lunch
coffee and croisant for breakfast
healthy hoomemade meal for dinner (eg stir fry, pasta)

for 2 weeks?

please don't say anything negetive, i just want to lose a few pounds and get my thighs more toned and not so fat........

I swear if I see another "That's So Raven" re-run I think I'm going to puke! Be anyway, on this last episode when she is late for the prom and she get stuck in the limo. I have seen this asked a lot of times but to me it is important because in Revelation it seems to be what launches us into the last days.

My 2001 Mitsubishi Galant needs a new radiator but how would I know if it's aluminum, steel, other, etc so I know which kind to go and buy. It seems like there is a price range for radiators. In other words, some are probably better than others. Thanks
