I am literally being pulled apart. There is an inherent contradiction between my perception and reality. I often feel useless, worthless, and undesirable, so obviously I avoid being noticed as much as possible. Others (women) have taken notice of me, but I have always found a way to avoid or to reject them without them knowing they have been rejected. Obviously, I want the love and affection of women, but I am unable reciprocate on a mature level.

you are a bystander. you watch a train, headed straight for a crowd of 20 people. You hold a button. If you do not push the button, the train will hit and kill all 20 innocent bystanders. If you push the button the train will change tracks, in which case it will only hit a single person and kill them. You only have these two options.
1) what do you do?
2) what if the single person was a known mass murderer? would this change your decision?
3) what if the single person was your mother?

The character Andy, who was trapped on top of the gun store, would always write messages on a large board to the survivors on top of the shopping mall. At the end of the movie, Andy is turning into a zombie. When the people on top of the shopping mall roof last see him, he writes one final message, which is just smeared lines.

This scene was absolutely chilling. I thought Andy was trying to lure them to the gun store. I thought it was a sign that the zombies had some remnant of human intellect left. He was trying to trick them into making a rescue attempt. He had some memory that writing on the board would make the people come, so he was trying it.

However, other people didn't agree that his last attempt at a message meant what I thought. They said he just turned into a zombie while writing the message. However, didn't it always take a few minutes after the person died for that to happen?

Okay, I'm reading about the atomic theory and how it explains the formation of different compunds by the same two elements, right? Well, it explains that "only whole atoms combine in chemical compunds between the same elements. Therefore, different compunds formed by the same two elements must result from combinations of different relative numbers of atoms."

Can you explain this in English for me?

I know what most of you will say. I just want advice and no judgements please... My sister is dating a sex offender. She is bi-polar and has issues with men etc.... She is going to marry this man. Even though he did not comit rape, he molested an underage female child of 13 years old. She has a high functioning autistic son. My sister has been unreliable in her decision making for years. I can not personally force her not to marry this man. The man is registered as an offender and admits to the crime and is going to counseling.

I can in NO way find it in myself that this marriage is OK. I understand that people can change however, should my sister be the one to find that out? My heart says NO.

If I expose him to my family, the realtionship will either be destroyed and my relationship with her and her son, or they will move away and cut us off all together. I'm not sure where to turn. I need advice.

ok, now before u start calling me dishonest and all that crap, hear me out. Somehow my brother hacked into my email. idk how, but he did, and he did it without changing my password, so I didn't know till like a week later.He's really really annoying. He writes emails to my friends in my account saying that I think they are really sexy, and I wanna make out with them. and also to my to some guys, telling them I've gone lez, and stuff like that. It's really embarassing. Can someone please tell me how to get him to stop? I've told my parents about him, but they don't believe me cuz I don't have proof. He won't stop. He emails my teachers, saying god knows what to them. I've had detention for 2 fricken wks. So does anyone know a way for me to get into his email real easily? I just wanna give him a taste of his own medicine. plzzzzzzz, I really need this!!!!

ne is older by a year or so (his name is jake) and the other one is older then me by a month(his name is Dylan)) (same age.)They both like me a lot. The first one i am currently dating. I have broken up with him twice but he always asks me back out so im asuming he likes me a lot. Jake says im the only girl for him and calls me beautifull intead of hott but dylan calls me hott. I am at home during the day with our 9-month-old baby. However, I am a full time PhD student and I run my own business where I have to complete major projects from home. My husband gets home on a regular basis, sometimes as late as 10pm. When I speak to him about it (every evening) he does the same thing the next evening despite telling me he will be home earlier. I understand his job is very demanding but is he also a work-a-holic. My schoolwork and professional projects for my business and patience is suffering. In the evening I am juggling bathing, feeding, and putting the baby down, school work, & projects for the biz, cooking dinner, & simply sitting down to take a breath. How do I get him to understand where I am coming from aside from yelling every night when he comes home, failing a class, closing down the biz, or having a nervous breakdown and then saying I told you so?

This just occurred to me so I hope I get it out properly.

Christians are called stupid and gullible for believing in a book (or collection of books) written by humans thousands of years ago and naively believe it to be the word of God and infallible.

Now... let me ask. Aren't scientists fallible humans as well? Hasn't science often been turned upside down, and hard and fast FACTS been dismissed when new information is gained. Then later even that sometimes gets overturned? Common "scientific" belief was that the earth was flat. Leeches were the medical marvel of a certain time.

The Bible and it's teachings, whether you believe them to be inspired of God or not, has stood the test of time and it's advice practical down to our day. Can you say the same for science, which is ever changing?

True. Greater knowledge improves a particular science. But the fact is that it is fallible...experimental, in it's very nature.

Honest thoughts please? Keep it nice!!
