Please explain how it is possible for Peter to be the "first pope" of the Catholic church, when the Catholic church didn't start until after all of the apostles had died.

Peter had a wife (Matthew 8:14, Mark 1:30, Luke 4:38), he had a filthy mouth and denied Christ (Matthew 26:69-75), and he died around 67 A.D., which makes it impossible for him to be the head of a church.

What I know of the Catholic church isn't much, but I know that priests aren't supposed to be married, though some have in recent years, and priests aren't supposed to swear, cuss, drink, use drugs, etc.

I was thinking of joining the navy (or possibly another branch) after High School (I'm a senior). Basically, I'd just like advice from sailors (or other personnel, or anyone who can give me good advice) and their opinion.

I'm not sure what I want to do with my life, I'm interested in linguistics (I know about the DLAB etc...) anyhow I thought perhaps the navy would give me a chance to do something worthwhile, get away from home, experience life a bit, and travel.
What are the
pro's and con's of the navy, especially compared to college?
Why did you join?
and are you happy with your decision? why or why not?
Would you advise a different branch? if yes, why?

My ex broke up with me a few months ago. We were together for a little over a year. I went a little psycho...lost a baby, had insecurity issues that still lingered from a past domestic violence relationship and finally got help. Anyway...once the depression passed a bit, I started hanging with friends again, and started dating a new guy. Recently, my ex told me that he wanted to try to work things out. The thing is, I'm so in love with my ex...really IN LOVE. The new guy is a sweetheart, and apparently has liked me for a couple years when we first met. I don't know what to do, completely torn. My ex lied a couple times, small white lies. I know he's never cheated, so I'm not concerned about that. He's also 6 years younger than me. The new guy is a couple years younger, taller, I feel like I don't have to worry at all about him straying. I just don't know what to do. You know the saying, don't always think with only your heart. My heart wants my ex back, but my head says otherwise.

how do i make my hair thicker?
i have fine hair and i'd love thicker hair
i dont want extensions because they make hair weak

does anyone recomend any hair products or methods?

my hair is naturally wavey and frizzy.
this means i have tostraighten it.
i dont want to straighten it every day.
