Should I try again with my ex? Or continue with the new guy?

My ex broke up with me a few months ago. We were together for a little over a year. I went a little psycho...lost a baby, had insecurity issues that still lingered from a past domestic violence relationship and finally got help. Anyway...once the depression passed a bit, I started hanging with friends again, and started dating a new guy. Recently, my ex told me that he wanted to try to work things out. The thing is, I'm so in love with my ex...really IN LOVE. The new guy is a sweetheart, and apparently has liked me for a couple years when we first met. I don't know what to do, completely torn. My ex lied a couple times, small white lies. I know he's never cheated, so I'm not concerned about that. He's also 6 years younger than me. The new guy is a couple years younger, taller, I feel like I don't have to worry at all about him straying. I just don't know what to do. You know the saying, don't always think with only your heart. My heart wants my ex back, but my head says otherwise.

Sugar, I think you should try out this new guy for a bit. If you and your ex are meant to be it will be. But you know Been there done that right? Open your heart to a new experience, change etc.

I wasted 6 years of my life doin exactly what you want to do back and forth with my ex. Then finally the last time it heart sooo bad but i was just tired of the same crap. He never strayed but just little lies turn into bigger ones.

Your ex may be dreamy and nice but why would he break up with you and broke your heart and now he wants to get back together? If he lies you can't trust him anywhere. The new guy you are talking about if he is a sweet heart than go with him. He hasn't been lying and he is telling the truth to you.
