their obligation to spread the word on some level--right? Most atheists claim people can believe whatever they want as long as no one tries to "push" their beliefs on them--follow me? Why is it then, 9 out of 10 times this debate comes up-- it's an atheist attempting to "push" his/her belief on Christians? Is this Bizarre-O world or what in here???? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

This is not an attack on either party per say-- it's just an observation about the interaction of both sides-- BOTH of which I think misbehave in this place.

When their ignorance, fear and racism is so scorned and ridiculed by any educated venue, that not only will Nazi idiot talk radio and faux (fox) news not be able to support them, but their point of view will be so universally rejected, they will be forced into silence and compliance ?

Will they just bite their tongues and be silent as their racist agenda rots in the trash heap, or will they continue to whine and blat like the racist cowards they are?

my fiance works with a girl that likes him. She has a boyfriend to. He says he only likes her as a friend. When he calls her it is not around me and he will call 2 to 4 times until she picks up. Then he will call her boyfriend? What does this sound like.

I started out the year with 10-12 pairs of dress socks for work, but as of today, I'm down to one pair (actually one and a half). Where did they all go? I guess I've got to go buy more.

Female silkworm moths attract males by emitting chemical signals that spread through the air. A male hundreds of meters away can detect these molecules and fly toward their source. The sensory organs responsible for this behavior are the comblike antennae on their heads. Each filament of an antenna is equipped with thousands of receptor cells that detect the sex attractant. Propose a hypothesis to account for the ability of the male moth to detect a specific molecule in the presence of many other molecules in the air.

Other than a couple of names of characters which are the same in the books and the movies, the movie contains nothing resembling the storyline in the book. Carlos the Jackal isn't even mentioned in the movies!

Have any of you taken this course? Is it worth the 200 bucks for the sessions? Our girl already knows how to sit, lay down, shake, roll over and she's just a super dog. However, we do want to take her to professional training in case there are good tips, advice we are missing out on. I'd appreciate any feedback. Thx!

Some of my family is quite religious, and they pray frequently.

As a non-religious person, I often observe that these events ascribed to supernatural forces as a result of prayers are actually the result of actions caused by the person i.e. if a person works hard, obtains a college degree and becomes adept with a certain skillset, he or she will likely be able to obtain a good job. Praying for it becomes irrelevant, in my opinion. No offense to those who pray, but it just seems like a method to absolve oneself from the responsibility to put forth the effort to make his actions successful.

If you are someone who prays, what gives you the assured expectation of the things you hope to receive from your god? If you are not a person who prays, do you know of any articles or material on the subjects of positive reinforcement or the psychological impact of prayers?

I recently bought a book called "The Nations Shall Know That I Am Jehovah." It was published by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, but no personal name or author is found in the book.

My question is, who do Jehovah's Witnesses today hold accountable when something untrue is found printed in its pages? (For example, on page 216 it says that "within our twentieth century, the battle in the day of Jehovah will begin." Since the 20th century ended seven years ago, Jehovah's Witnesses now know the author of the book was wrong.)
