Awhile ago I lent a work 'friend' about $300 as he claimed he was in a bind due to health issues. He later used the money to buy shoes and take his wife and mother out to dinner. Besides that... We made a deal that this money would be repaid to me at some point when he was back on his feet and more finacially stable. Not long after that he was fired from the company. This was about a year ago, I decided not to presue a friendship with him from that point due to other issues. I do know how to contact him and I still want that money back! How would you suggest I bring the subject up that will be effective and get results? (That doesnt involve using a hit man or blackmailing?)

So I got my crushes number and I called her and we talked for 5 minutes then she said she'd call me back (which she didn't). She missed the next day of school and the day after she saw me at lunch and walked over to me and hugged me and talked to me. Why she act like that??

How can they imagine that a parasitic embryo is a human being? It can not live on its own. It is totally dependent on the womb it is in. If it is allowed to live on, it will grow faster than any cancer. It will take all the nutrients it needs from the mother, no questions asked. At an early stage it is indistinguishable from a pig embryo. It is being used by the legal system as second 'person' in the event of the mother being killed. Of course, that is not all bad. Pro-lifers feel no compunction about condemning the woman to 18 years of responsibility in raising that baby to adulthood. It has to be disconcerting to a woman who does not want a pregnancy to have other people butt into her life and attempt to force her to go through with her 'mistake' or misfortune.

he yells at her, won't let her leave the house and took away her credit card, he treats her like **** and i he hit her a few times, i saw him do it once thats how i found out. It made me soo mad. But my sister asked not to tell my parents, she knows that if my parents get involved that they will definately get a divorce, but she has a 1 year old, and she doesn't know what to do. She's so unhappy and her in laws are doing everything in their power to make it worse. She cries every day thinking she made the biggest mistake of her life, and she's only 23. I don't know what to do, im afraid to bring it up and ask her if she wants to tell our parents because i don't want to remind her and make her even more unhappy. I am in over my head. I work at a Dr.'s office. I schedule new patient appointments, verify insurance and answer the phones for 4 doctors and eight locations. My phone is ringing off the hook and papers have overtaken my office to the point of not finding anything! Does anyone have a system that could work for me? I hate feeling out of control, especially at a job I love and have done for 5 years. Our practice has recently blown up and I can't keep up! Asking for help is a no go. We don't have enough staff right now.

I have been looking into the history of genetic modification. I located a source that stated that the 1st fertile interspecific hybrid was created in the 1700s and moreso, that the 1st fertile intergeneric cross was created in the 1920s. I found that the first artifical interspecific hybrid was created by Thomas Fairchild in 1719 (carnation x sweet williams), but I can't find any info on whether it was fertile. I noticed also that the first cereal hybrid was bred between wheat and rye - triticale - in 1876 by Wilson. As well, I noticed that the first case of hybrid vigor was observed in tobacco by Joseph K lreuter in the 1760s. I was guessing orchids, but their first interspecific cross was done in the early 1900s. I also came across mention of an interspecific cross in Darwin's Origin of Species, where W. Herbert crossed Crinum capense with C. revolutum to produce fertile hybrids, but this must have been in the 1850s. As to the 1st fertile intergeneric hybrid, I have no leads.
