Why would you look on earth. According to the book of Abraham it is the name of a distant star which central planet is God's home world.. I know that sounds strange.. It does to me too but still your question is even stranger that their doctrine... Jim

Just use regular google and you can get plenty of results.

In the Latter Day Saint movement, Kolob is a star or planet mentioned in the Book of Abraham as being nearest to the throne or residence of God. The literal existence and the exact nature of Kolob is a controversial topic in Latter Day Saint movement theology, as is the Book of Abraham, which has not been canonized by the Community of Christ and several other denominations. However, the idea of Kolob has had an influence in the theology and culture of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).

Uhhh, because no one knows where it is?

This does not discount the possibility that it *could* have existed in any way. I doubt if Babylon or Alexandria, Egypt will appear either. And, of course, the Central and South American pre-columbian cities will likewise probably not display if you enter their names.

Are you trying to prove that Kolob *used* to exist?

Scientists have not named nor identified all stars. Nor does Google Earth have every known star in its database.

Using the Book of Abraham as a reference, one would expect Kolab to be in the as yet undiscovered center of the universe.

From the learned mind of Paul Osborne, Independent Scholar of Egyptology

"Grammar & Alphabet of the Egyptian Language"; The five degrees of Jah-oh-eh are derived from pages 24-34. Joseph Smith revealed that this earth and countless star systems orbit God's throne as subsystems within one galaxy.

[1st Degree]
"Jah-oh-eh: The earth including its affinity with the other planets; with their governing powers which are fifteen: the earth, the sun, and the moon; first in their affinity; including one power."
1. The earth as represented by its planet symbol in the left register of this screen as well as the left register of Joseph Smith's manuscript which was used by the ancients and by modern astronomers today.
2. Earth-Sun-Moon-Planets
3. 15 governing powers of gravitation
4. 1 governing power of gravitation

[2nd Degree]
"The earth under the government of another, which is one of the fixed stars; which is called Oliblish."
1. The earth as represented by the planet symbol in the left register
2. Earth under the governing power of the 1st star called Oliblish

[3rd Degree]
"The earth under the government of another or the second of the fixed stars, which is called Enish-go-on-dosh or in other words the power of attraction it has with the earth."
1. As note earlier, the earth is under the governing power of the 1st star called Oliblish
2. The earth is also under the governing power of a 2nd star called Enish-go-on-dosh
3. This governing power is gravitation in space

[4th Degree]
"The earth and power of attraction it has with the third fixed star, which is called Kae-e-vanrash."
1. As noted earlier, the earth is under the governing power of two stars called Oliblish and Enish-go-on-dosh
2. Earth under the governing power of a 3rd star called Kae-e-vanrash
3. The earth is governed by the gravitational forces of these three stars

[5th Degree]
"Jah-oh-eh: The earth under the governing power of Oliblish, Enish-go-on dosh, and Kae-e-vanrash, which are the grand Key or in other words, the governing power, which governs the fifteen fixed stars that governs the earth, sun, & moon (which have their power in one) with the other twelve moving planets of this system. Oliblish - Enish-go-on-dosh, and Kae-e-vanrash, are the three grand central powers that govern all the other creations, which have been sought out by the most aged of all the fathers, since the beginning of the creation, by means of the Urim and Thummim: The names of the other twelve of the fixed stars are: Kolob, Limdi, Zip, Vusel, Venisti, Waine, Way-oh-ox-oan, oansli, Kible, Shineflis, flis, os. The Egyptian names of the fifteen moving planets are: Oan-isis, Flos-isis, flo-ese, Abbesels, Ele-ash, Subble, Slundlo, Car-roam, Craw-ma-Kraw, obbles-isim, Izins-bah, missel, Nah-mesile, Ohee-oop-zah, Zool."

1. Three governing stars (Oliblish, Enish-go-on dosh, and Kae-e-vanrash),with their gravitational central power are the grand key and they govern the galaxy along with 12 other fixed stars - Kolob being the first star.
2. The 15 fixed stars govern the earth, sun, and moon.

What does this all mean? It appears that smaller star systems are set within larger star systems, one within the other or that one system operates in the bounds of the another's gravitational power and so on and so forth. The stars move about in orbits which consists of 15 governing systems built into each other and are like wheels within wheels, turning in one grand galaxy orbiting God's throne. In theory, this is how I see it:

The earth, moon, and planets of our solar system orbit the sun. Our solar system and presumably other stars and solar systems orbit the 15th star called Os
The 15th star system and all other systems that orbit Os, orbit the 14th star called Flis
The 14th star system and all other systems that orbit Flis, orbit the 13th star called Shineflis
The 13th star system and all other systems that orbit Shineflis, orbit the 12th star called Kible
The 12th star system and all other systems that orbit Kible, orbit the 11th star called Oansli
The 11th star system and all other systems that orbit Oansli, orbit the 10th star called Way-oh-ox-oan
The 10th star system and all other systems that orbit Way-oh-ox-oan, orbit the 9th star called Waine
The 9th star system and all other systems that orbit Waine, orbit the 8th star called Venisti
The 8th star system and all other systems that orbit Venisti, orbit the 7th star called Vusel
The 7th star system and all other systems that orbit Vusel, orbit the 6th star called Zip
The 6th star system and all other systems that orbit Zip, orbit the 5th star called Limdi
The 5th star system and all other systems that orbit Limdi, orbit the 4th star called Kae-e-vanrash
The 4th star system and all other systems that orbit Kae-e-vanrash, orbit the 3rd star called Enish-go-on dosh
The 3rd star system and all other systems that orbit Enish-go-on-dosh, orbit the 2nd star called Oliblish
The 2nd star system and all other systems that orbit Oliblish, orbit the 1st star called Kolob
All of the above orbit God's throne

In truth, all of it is balonium.
