By all means, be nice and no sassing to your manager. However, if you don't get your work done BECAUSE of her interruptions, she's responsible for that. So, what if, each time she comes around, you completely stop whatever you're doing, turn to her, fold your hands nicely in your lap (if you're standing, interlock your fingers, hold your hands down by your stomach) and look her intently in the eye. Just give her 110% of your attention. Soon she should notice that your work stops because of her presence. With any luck she'll get wise and make a change.
Or, if you don't think this would work on her . . . just get a squirt gun, and whenever she leaves get her in the back of the head, then act like you don't know what's going on (who, me?).

Well you could do what i do and do the very thing they want but have a hdden meaning behind every word that you say..example: I couldn't cuss out my sgt in the army..so i would say HOOAH! THANK YOU!..when in actuality I was saying Yeah! F-U!..it was funny to me cause he knew what meaning i had behind it but he couldn't do anything about it..as a civilian there are ways to play with words but hide the obvious just to make your point.. she comes again buggin about some paper/fax/email whatever..you know your gonna be irritated by her presence so you just turn around and say something outta whack. like..:gosh you must really like me if you keep coming around huh?..she'll of course say something smart..just smile and walk away..say something offhand to another co-worker within hearing distance of her/him..you know i've realized something about my neghbor Pam..when you got your co workers attention..say..when people can't stop talking about someone or everything seems to revert back to that one person it usually means they have a secret desire to be with the person..subconsciously they are like IN love or something..you know an obsession without really knowing they have one..All your doing is planting the seed of self doubt..once that seed grows you got your boss/whatever in a corner..she will find other people to talk about try to avoid you at all costs..hell she'll probably begin to ignore you..lmao..hell UNLESS she is gay/lez well thats another story..lol..good luck..sounds like war~

Being smart with your boss is not a good idea. You might do better with something like, "I'm sorry, I'm finding it hard to concentrate on this task right now. Could we talk about that later?"
