I've thought about trying to leave a message for myself in a future life. If I can remember one thing from this life to the next, I'll try to remember to look for the message. What kind of message could I leave that would be clear to my future self that it was from my former self?

Once I think about this possibility, it occurs to me that maybe I already left this message in a previous life. I have remembered that I'm supposed to be looking for the message. Where do I look? What means of communication has been available to people in all time periods? Most people couldn't build large structures, so I'm thinking literature is the place to look. What should I look for? Have you found the message I left for myself?

By the way, this is more of a fun puzzle to think about, not a religious inquiry. Let's put belief aside, assume reincarnation exists, and go from there.

I was originially set on Macie... but now another name has caught my attention... What do you think of Maesyn (like Mason)? To explain a little further, I'd like it to be pronounced more May-sin than May-sun... I hated the name Mason for a boy yet... it's cute as a girl name. I could also still call her Maesy for short. Odd spellings yes... but Maesyn seems more feminine.

If not, does that mean that God discriminates against animals because we humans are more clever and smarter then animals?
Because I was under the impression that all God’s creatures were created equal.

In a divorce, if the husband was allways the one to pay for the house, water, electricity etc... while the mother took care of the children, can the courts make the ex husband pay for the house so that the ex wife and children can stay, if he was the one who made the money?

Did you forget the Archaeopteryx? Or how about the Microraptor?

They both are definately transitional forms with features of both the dinosaur and the modern bird.

And before you say anything ridiculous about Archaeopteryx isn't a direct ancestor of birds, no it isn't. But that isn't what we're looking for. We're looking for a transitional form, which is a different thing. Direct ancestry is not necessary to show lineage and transitions. There are enough anatomical and genetic similarities between Archaeopteryx, birds and reptiles (including the crocodile, which is one of the oldest living species on the planet) to justify calling it a transitional form. To call it an ancestor would be to imply direct lineage when its not needed.

Transitional does not mean ancestral.

When I ask a question, I usually get around 15 responses. How do I get my questions out to more people as to broaden my answer range?

I have multiple contacts and they all seem to be very active on the forum but I am not getting nearly the responses I think I should. Is it that my questions are boring? Am I asking on the wrong sites?

I need advice from my Top Contributor friends. Help me reach the next level.

Sandy :O)

I know this is a dumb question but how do you count the days that sperm lives. I was told that it could live for 2-5 days. My husband and I had sex on Sunday and I ovulated yesterday. Do I count Sunday as day one or do I count Monday as day one? I am just trying to calculate if there was a chance that the sperm lived until Tuesday! I was not expecting to ovulate so soon! My periods are not regular!

My husband and I have not talked to his mother for well over a year now. We had a disagreement with her and she took off out of state. She did not tell us that she moved, we found out from someone else. We know how to reach her if we want to. She has made no attempt to contact us at all. What started the whole thing was so little compared to what she turned it into. Before she left, she walked right by her son and me like she did not even know us. I just can not get over how easy it was for her to walk away from her own son.
Since this whole thing began, we have had 2 baby girls. Our first daughter past away last year, the other was born a couple months ago and is at home but with some medical issues. Should we let her know about the babies? Ever since I had the last baby, I have been feeling a need for family in the worst way. Should I let her know or should I let the sleeping dog lie? Thanks in advance!
