When I ask a question, I usually get around 15 responses. How do I get my questions out to more people as to broaden my answer range?

I have multiple contacts and they all seem to be very active on the forum but I am not getting nearly the responses I think I should. Is it that my questions are boring? Am I asking on the wrong sites?

I need advice from my Top Contributor friends. Help me reach the next level.

Sandy :O)

Was there too much text in my detail section, Richard? It seems many want as many details as possible.

I'm sorry I didn't answer any of your last questions! (I did answer the ones about your daughter's birthday)

There's nothing wrong with them, quite the contrary, they're really good!! :) It's just that I don't have a good enough answer for them, only that. I haven't had much time to be online, for family reasons, and have only been writing few and very simple and short answers, most of the time.

I agree that this has to do with the time of the day you ask, the category, the number of days you let it open (many people can't answer the first day, but will answer later) and your contacts, if they know how to answer your questions. But keep in mind that what matters most is the quality of the answers, not the quantity. :)

Good luck to you, and all the best!! :)

Hugs, and much love, for all the family!! :)

Sandy, I would go to the profiles of the answers that I received here & see how the ones with good advice are wording catchy titles. I find no fault in your questions but I do know what you mean. One does like to get lots of answers. I thought it might be the time of day or night posted or where it's posted.
The best way to get to the next level for me, has been to answer questions, rather than ask. I am very proud of my best answers. Means I have done the best I could, from the heart.

May you all have a blessed day. Keep on smiling !!!~~~~~~

I agree with the cleavage and cold beer answers.

In all seriousness the guy who said ask something simple is right, or something that is controversial or everyone has an opinion on. People on here for the most part don't seem like they are very informed on things, so dumb it down a bit.

As your contact I think you ask pretty good questions. I have noticed that the most simple yet intriguing questions get the most responses. I think you just have to think of topics that most people can relate to, or perhaps a topic in regards to things that most people experience, but never mention it.

1st, email yell at your contacts to answer your questions.
2nd, choose a proper time of day when most people might be using their computers, and off work.
3rd, be more clear in your writing. Double check your explanations, in your questions, to make sure you can be completely understood, so only Libs might get confused, lol.

Maybe try to be more concise in asking a question. People may tend to skip a question with a block of text.

The brainless questions seem to evoke the MOST response, but the more thought-provoking ones get the crickets to chirping...

Do you want more responses, or better ones?

Ask a mind-numbingly simple question, and you'll get 50 answers. Such as, "Who likes fudge brownies?"

If you're looking for better answers, that improves as you and your contacts get more comfortable with each other.
