I broke my leg on sidewalk in middle of Wal-Mart parking lot. I thought the sidewalk was a straight standard sidewalk, and I stumbled where the sidewalk ramped down (then back up) for "cart crossing" (The sidewalk/ramp was not painted a different color to alert me of elevationn difference.)

My health insurance says Wal-Mart is liable. And Wal-Mart says that they were not "negligent" & that I fell on my own accord - therefore they are NOT liable.

Who is right?

Due to the severety/location of the fracture, I have undergone 2 surgeries & now have titanium plates/screws holding my tibia (shin bone) in place. And I can't afford to pay 100% of the hospital bills on my own.

I'd like to know how many of you really believe in any sort of afterlife, weather that be heaven/hell, reincarnation, or you float around as energy/spirit till the end of time.

And how many people, like myself, think that life just ends, and belief in an afterlife is just humans unable to come to terms with there own mortality.

I know they say you cant study for it. I went on about.com and it gave me some vague responses on how you could but with so many people that have taken it there has got to be a way to prepare for it. If someone swears in the name of Allah he will never do this bad thing again (e.g cursing masturbating, stealing, drinking etc.), but he still does it, what is the ruling if he seeks forgiveness? I have asked a different question about this and they all say for recompensation, free a Muslim slave, feed 10 poor people or clothing them, and if you can't do this, fast for three days and seek forgiveness.

What I'm really saying is do these recompensation acts must be done for each time he breaks it or as a whole?

Help me, guys. I did something bad and I swore in the name of Allah I will never do it again, but I have repeated it many times. Please, do I recompense for each act or as a whole? I really didn't mean to do it and I am afraid, I seek Allah S.W.T's forgiveness. Please, help me.

I just bought the first four coins of the new presidential coin collection because I thought it would be cool. (I'm not a coin collector and this would be my first collection.) I paid approximately $12 for the first four coins plus a nice leather holding case, straight from the mint. The coins have not been in circulation and have a clear display capsule.

My question is if I should order the remaining 36 for the entire set of 40. They want $162 for the remaining coins.

In your opinion, is it a wise investment? If I don't order the uncirculated coins now in the clear capsules will the mint offer that deal again? Should I wait and just collect coins that have been circulated and put them in the collection?

Any advice is appreciated.

rear wheels keep locking up in gear so took off tirer an caliper and axal spun freely than started up car ran and piston came out of caliper like somebody pushed the brake pedal so i pushed caliper pisten back in and piston went back in easy so brake lines are ok im thinking abs moudule or pump and valves?????

My friend is going out with a jerk who used to like me but i just stayed friends with him because my best friend liked him and now he is going out with her and treats all her friends like crap and they have been going out for like a year and he has been treating all her friends badly and she knows it. I am scared to death. A few months ago, I discovered I was in trouble financially. I am 26 years old and have no idea how I'm going to survive. I had to take out a loan to pay off my credit cards which I had to use to pay for school and school related expenses. I now have a monthly loan payment, standard "living" expenses, gas, rent, car maintenence, insurance. I don't know how I'm going to survive.

Please, I know a lot will say to get a second job and I want to do that more than you know. The problem is, and I don't expect you to understand, that I still live with my parents and I have a dad who doesn't know about my money problems and can never know. There is no way I could hide a second job from him.

My dad is my hero, but he lives in the past with his thinking. He thinks of how things were when he started out and doesn't really understand how things are drastically different in today's world, financially. Being so young, not living on the street seems next to impossible.

I have alot going on n my life..i work full time in the dementia ward of a nursing home..i go to school full time..i have two adult children,a son and a daughter..my daughter is pregnant at age 19 and my son who is 22 is in jail.I just caught my man cheating and broke it off with him and moved out to live with my father until i get my own place and now my father and i are not getting along very well.Im far away from my hometown and dont know anyone else here to talk to,i only socialize with few people.My credit cards are killing me and all my so called family always calls me and ask me for advice with their problems but i cant talk to them about my problems.What else can i say but HELP....any real good advice?

Who are they trying to kid? You would have to be blind, deaf, and mentally retarded to not believe in evolution.
