My friend is going out with a jerk who used to like me but i just stayed friends with him because my best friend liked him and now he is going out with her and treats all her friends like crap and they have been going out for like a year and he has been treating all her friends badly and she knows it. It is hard for me to hang out with her now and i almost dont want to be her friend anymore what do i do?

Be honest with her. Let her know what you think of this guy and why. Let her know she is SOOOO much better than that!!! And ask her why she stays with him. You may be surprised at her answer. Friends need friends that tell the truth and help through difficult times. I'd be surprised to find out this guy is not manipulating her in many ways. Maybe using fear too. Hang in there for her sake, at least until you're sure he's not mistreating her.

Well i think you should just stay out of it if you still want her to be your friend. I would just not hang out with her when he is with her, and try to be supportive of her but let her know that you don't really want to hang out with him. But she needs to learn for herself that her man is no good.

all you can do is be a true friend and sit her down with just you two and tell her the truth. if she doesnt listen you have to let her find out the hard way though it may and will be hard to let that happen.

you are her best friend, he is her boyfriend. dont intervene, just refuse to hang out with her when he is around. do not try to take over her life like im sure many ppl will tell you to do.
