in my house in the carpet EVERYWHERE HELP ME PLEASE!! How can I get rid of them? They are the biting kind! I think they are coming out of my carpet. I have no clue they've just got to go!

Try bombing the house.... That should get rid of any insect nest within the house.

The question is - why are the fire ants freaking?? Seriously, I don't recall fire ants IN a house. Outside - yes. Since I live in central Florida, we have the same problem, but outside. There are several good fire ant killing compounds, all are granular in composition. They require sprinkling on the fire ant mounds, then LIGHTLY watering the mound to activate the chemical that kills the ants, including he Queen. However, if you have the little suckers in the house, you may have to resort to using a commercial pest control company so that something stronger can be applied. BTW - in the meantime, if you get bitten by them, WD40 spray can be used to alleviate the itching etc. that is caused by the bite instead of the expensive commercial sprays, lotions, etc. that are supposed to relieve the condition.

You can put garlic out around the kitchen. But if you cannot find the source of where they a coming from, then put an Ant&Roach bomb under the house and on each floor and go out to the park for a few hours, leave garlic in your cuboards and keep them closed while you bomb and follow up with a ant spray that kills for months, Spray the base boards and out side around the doorways and windows. Garlic will kill ants but won't harm you.

You need to call Terminix or Orkin to come to your home to spray ASAP.....I have the Terminix man come on a regular schedule to spray both inside & out. It's well worth it & doesn't cost that much but even if it did, wouldn't it be worth it?
