I just bought a baby iguana...

well not exactly..my boyfriend did.
(he has wanted one forever and there was one in the paper for 20 bucks)

---by the way i know it was wrong of him to just go out and buy him,you dont have to tell me, im the one that is taking care of it now (but thats okay because i LOVE all animals)

besides its not like we wont shop for him... we just went out and got him a 20 gallon tank (for the time being) a wired tank cover with clamps for no escapes, food and water dishes (stocked with food) 75 watt heat lamp (that was what we were told to buy him since hes small) and lizzard terrain liner. oh did i mention a leash for when hes older = D


i need some information and advice on taking care of "Suko"

things they like? dislike?
things i should/shouldnt feed him?
cage accessories?

anything you have!!

I am currently 35 weeks I think??? The first ultrasound I had my due date was sep 20 the second it was the 10th and my baby weighed just over four lbs. The third ultra estimated the 2nd and my baby weighed a little over six. I am wondering how long I really have, because if babies gain .5-1 lb a week in the last month then my baby will more than likely be about 8 lbs in two-three weeks. What are the opinions on how big they will let him get and when I will probably go into labor.

it would interest me to know why people would be against organ donation in the event of their death.... i am a registered donor and ive registered my 2 year old son... obviously i dont want or expect either of us to die but in the tragic event of it happening id want to be able to give the gift of life to someone in need... ive asked a prev question in a slightly different format re the subject a few days ago and il explain my reasons again in the hope of making any doubters reconsider.... my 20 year old sister has the life limiting illness cystic fibrosis... it is a genetic disease and shes suffered since birth and needs daily routines of physiotherapy, loadsa medication and frequent hospital visits/stays.... she now relys heavily on oxygen and a wheelchair to get around and has never experienced the normal life that most 20 year olds lead.... she is now awaiting a double lung transplant and has been given just 18 months to live without it.i hope this makes you think about reconsider

Hi, I work for a small business company.
I am going back to school this year - I will be a Student-at-Large this semester (meaning I am not seeking degree). I am taking Fiction writing Class.
Now, I am thinking to approach my boss - and ask if he would reimburse my tuition.
What are the general rules / requirements / laws on that? (if there are any).
Is Educational Assistance governed by nay employment laws/ regulations?
p.s. my co-worker, who is pursuing a MBA has her tuition reimbursed. but because we're so small and lax around here, she never got any Written Agreement with the employer. -- I do not want to follow into those steps.
What do I do?
What questions should I ask? What should I agree to?
Do I even qualify ( being an "irregular student" enrolled in a Fiction Writing Class)?!
Please, Help!

I think i might start my period soon but how soon?
I have been getting clear discharge, and my breast have been growing for more than two years now. I have pubic hair as well. I have been wearing pantiliners lately. How long do you have discharge before u start your period. I am 13

My mom got hers at 16, but both my sisters got theirs at 13.

so, i always hated going to wedddings, because all these random old relatives (that ive never met...) come up to me and pinch my cheeks saying "you are next!" but, u know what? i love going to funerals because i can go up to all my old relatives and pinch there cheeks and say "you are next!"

Okay, let's say you owned a house. And you got this fancy lock that you thought always worked, but apparently, it broke off. And someone that was a complete stranger just sort of moved in. They mooched off all the food in your kitchen, and they kicked you once a day, maybe even more. Now, being that it is /your/ house, you should be able to kick out said stranger even if they cannot survive on their own, correct? I'd say so.

So, how come we can't kick babies out of our bodies? I mean really, it's not /my/ fault they can't survive outside my body on their own. I mean, if they're so 'alive' and such an 'individual', they need to be able to survive on their own. As long as they are dependent on their mothers, I don't consider them alive.

Opinions, opinions. Please, be serious. Unless you plan on using hypothetical situations like I did, because those always give me a kick. Also, feel free to IM me on your opinions also.

OH AND, no, I'm not pregnant. :)
