Girls usually start about a year to a year and a half after they start getting discharge. Yep you sound as if you will be starting soon, carry round some pads (especially at school), and you shouldn't have to worry. Also, it may be an idea to bring an extra pair of panties to school just in case you start and you don't realise, although first periods are usually more of a splidge than a puddle. Look out for some pinkish/reddish/brownish discharge and/or cramps and you should be fine and dandy lol. Hope this helps and good luck xo

Trust me you will get them soon. I was in the same situation before i started in the middle of june (yes, THIS june, lol) and b4 that i was having clear discharge and wore pantiliners. I cant say when you are exactly gunna start, but soon. And when you get brownish discharge, thats when its coming, lol.

It sounds like all is in order, but it the discharge continues and the cramping continues, you might want to mention it to your mom. Young girls can easily get yeast infections, and I know that's not really characterized by a CLEAR discharge, but you still just want to make sure. :-)

It could be soon or you could take after your mom. With the cramps it could be in the next few months. Discharge is normal.

It sounds like it's coming soon. Probably before you turn 14. Keep pantyliners on hand, and Midol, just in case you're one of the many, who get those darn cramps!! Have fun in the meantime!! Good luck, hon!! :)

Yes, you could be starting your period soon.

Definitely discuss this with your mom as well so that she can help you keep track of when your period is coming.
