My ex-boyfriend and I have been broken up for a few months, however remained in contact mainly as he wanted to stay in contact. I wanted to cut all contact with him but he was begging me not to. He was the one who broke it off with me. We have been arguing lately mainly because I still have lots of feelings for him and I get emotional. I asked him to call me on Sunday but he said he can't and I got really upset and told him that he should not contact me again. He texted back and he was pretty angry. We had arranged to meet up face to face in a couple of weeks but now he is now saying he isn't sure he still wants to meet. He said to give him a week to feel better as he needs time to digest our arguments. Why does he need all this time? I texted him today and asked him to be ok with each other but he told me that he hates being forced like this. He sounded pretty angry? I just don't know what to do? I am so powerless? He is showing me a wall?

A cowboy walks into a bar and two steps in, he realizes it's a gay bar. But decides, what the heck," as he says to himself. I really need a drink." When the gay waiter approaches, he says to the cowboy, What's the name of your penis?"

The cowboy says, "Look, I'm not Into any of that. All I want is a drink."

The gay waiter says, " I'm sorry but I can't serve you until you tell me the name of your penis. Mine for instance is called Nike, for the slogan 'Just Do It'. That guy down at the end of the Bar calls his Snickers, because it really Satisfies."

The cowboy looks dumbfounded so the bartender tells him he'll give him a second to think it over.

The cowboy turns to the man drinking a beer and sitting to his left and asks, "Hey bud, what's the name of yours?"

The man looks back and says with a smile "TIMEX."

The thirsty cowboy asks, "Why Timex?"

The fella proudly replies, "Cause it takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin!"

Ok. it's a crazy question, but if we see right now the past of the galaxies and stars when we look at space. and if we look farther out, we can see how galaxies and stars where millions of years ago, this means that the farther we see the older the images are.

is it possible that if we see far far beyond that, can we see the big bang in proccess? i mean can we actually see the hole mass and energy that existed before the big bang explotion?

do i made myself clear? .. i mean imagine that we have the most powerfull telescope that could see as far as the last remaining star of the universe and we pointed directly to the center of the universe, what would we see? if the universe is 13.7billions years old and our telescope would reach that distance what would we see then?

At first, excuse me, I don't speak english very well...

I was very surprised to notice that in the resolute answers. Sure that Poe, Orwell, Steinbeck or Philip K Dick are among my favorite authors, but nobody mentions here Herman Hesse, Stefan Zweig, Dostoievski, Tchekhov, Baudelaire, Boris Vian... Is that normal? Are Americans read especially anglo saxon litterature? I'd like to have your opinion on that. Thanks a lot.

Think into the future. What possible + and -'s do you see to the idea. They are already talking about having them be autonomous. Should we let independent machines have the ability to take human life? Or should that be the responsibility of another human? It should be a very serious thing right? It seems that robotic soldiers would cheapen the value of human life.

Went for an oil change and they told me my oil pan gasket is leaking. How much would this type of repair generally cost?

What is the cheapest method of getting it fxed.

I'm sure I've seen stuff that you can just add to your oil to stop leaks, or am I wrong??

Lets say i find a piece of bone that is thousands of years old. I crush up that bone and eat the dust. My body absorbs that bone and it becomes within my body's carbon. Would carbon dating date me to be thousands of years old, even though I am currently alive?

Oh, I know, it would date me to be 50,000 years old because carbon dating has been proven to have major inaccuracies.
