whenever an atheist has a question about religion he/she asks that question in the r&s section. however, whenever believers tend to have questions about science, they ask them in the r&s section. go figure...

Its funny, but at the same time it is also a bit disconcerting. The fact that religious people seek to have their religion introduced into every topic of discussion, even in areas where they don’t belong, underscores the mentality of religious people themselves.
To me this incessant need, by people of a religious persuasion, to constantly talk about their faith in areas where ideas about God and spirituality are irrelevant, signifies that one, religious people seek to conquer and control every facet of our society, and secondly, religious people are insecure about their belief.
I liken many people of faith, who are adamant about proselytizing in every venue they don’t belong, to that of an immature child. An immature child seeks to butt into every conversation because he is insecure about his place in an adult world; and therefore constantly has to reassert his dominance by interrupting in areas where he doesn’t belong.

Well, odd perhaps, but not amusing. The fact is, believers probably do ask questions in the various sciences, but when they ask in R&S, they are asking about the conflicts between their religion and science. So we get the conflict questions, and get a distorted view of their beliefs as a result.
I will keep campaigning for people to ask reasonable, sensible questions, and do so politely. And for people to answer reasonably and politely, too. You can tell me anything with good manners, and I will not condemn it, though I may disagree. In this, I think all factions have both good and bad. Some are horrible and rude, and some are very refreshing. I've learned a lot from Christians with this attitude, even though it is not likely to convert me.

Isn't it funny atheists have questions about something they don't believe in? A person has to ask science questions in the r/s section. That's where all the so called believers in science are to be found.

I guess. I think its funnier (well, not really funny I suppose) that most of my questions on spiritualism and other religions are asked in the Mythology and Folklore section. I just get fed up with the norrow-minded christian answers, like: "That's evil, or God is the one and only true blah-bid-e-blah!" I wish this forum had a little more tolerance and smarter people contributing.

an atheist believes in mans own ingenuity of solving questions and problems,a believer on the other hand sees science as a tool from god.if you would question a one year old baby about anything, what kind of answer would you get?this is how mankind is compared to the Almighty.

If I have questions or incite that fall into the r&s catagory that's where I will ask my question.
Religious people answer and question in a variety of catagories and their religious leanings become part of their opinion.

I'm sure that there are some religious people out there who believe in science too. Perhaps religion just interest them more, or they want to try to put god on top. Who know?

I will have to disagree with you a bit. Most of the "questions" here are not really questions. Rather they are arguments against accepted science.
