Favorite BRITISH food? I'll tell you I lived in a hugely diverse ethnic city, and loved to go out for all kinds of ethnic food, like every week. NOT once can i say I ever had anything from Britain, other than fish and chips!!

Fish n' Chips. If your ever in the NYC area, A Salt and Battery is a great place, and in Brooklyn there is the Chip Shop in Flatbush. Such great places.

I don't like English food.

i replaced into going to assert fish and chips, however the cooking oils they use those days is spoiling it. So my answer must be the reliable previous egg and chips. many times I hate the US type of food.

Bangers and mash. I love those. I have had black and white pudding and eggs before as well but bangers and mash is my favorite.
