July made 1 year that my husband hired this lawyer for his case. We went in on a Wedensday to talk with the lawyer he took the case & said he does not start cases until he has been paid.. Well, I have never been through this so we paid him the following Friday. He canceled one court date scheduled another & my husband took off day for the rescheduled court date & the lawyer called us that morning to say he was going to cancel the court.This has been going for over a year as I said and he will not return our phone calls & I called the court house today & the lady said she fired the same lawyer over a year ago because he was doing the same thing to her. Not returning calls& canceling court dates she said she paid him $2500.00&lost it all because she fired him. I need some answers & I need to know what to do can anyone please give me some advice?Who can I talk to about this problem?I have called countless times &my husband has even stopped by his office&still no response from him.help!

i recently had a porcelain crown placed on my back tooth. since i had it done i have had extreme sensitivity on it. i went back to the dentist several times (this has been over 3 months ongoing) and finally today he realized that some of my roots were exposed. he put a desensitizing liquid on it and told me we would have to do this every 2 weeks until it healed. do exposed roots really heal themselves? if so how does it work. the funny thing is i never had problems with this tooth before he put the cap on. now i cant even chew on that side of my mouth! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am really not a *****...but I have my friend's best interest in mind.

Okay...here it goes. I have a friend doesn't exactly smell fresh and clean all the time. She told me she doesn't shower every day, which could be the source of the problem, but she doesn't think she smells when she doesn't shower, and she says that she doesn't think it is necessary to. She also skips on deodorant sometimes, and she smells bad. How can I tell her [nicely] that she smells? Also, do you have any tips that I could give her to smell fresh and clean?

And I am saying this seriously. Im not an atheist trying to give you a hard time.

Many people(although not all) dont believe in global warming but do believe in god so I wanna know. How do you believe in him and not global warming?

-You say that through logic he exists because who else could have made this world right? But through logic, since we've been polluting the earth, its been getting hotter and hotter(mostly air pollution)
-We may or may not be able to prove that global warming exists but we may or may not be able to prove god exists either right? We dont know, we just believe or dont believe right?
-You cant really find actual proof that say here is the exact, tangible, undeniable evidence it exists. But then where is the exact, tangible, undeniable evidence god exists?

And if global warming CAN be proven, then why dont you believe in it and you do believe in god who hasnt been proven to exist. So far no religions have been proven true or false.

When I was travelling around asia I found restaurants selling tasty meat substitutes. I've found something similar at a vegan chinese takeaway near me which sells THE nicest 'fake meat' like sweet and sour pork and aromatic duck. It tastes just like the real thing!

It's pretty expensive though so i'd like to make it myself. Does anyone know where I can find or how I can make it? I've never seen anything similar sold in shops so is there anywhere online I can buy/find recipes for it?

ok I had 4 credit cards that i stopped paying on back in 2003.
so on my credit report I have the original lendors reported it as charge-off with zero balance, then i have those 4 debts go to a collection agency with again a charge off with zero balance and "sold/transferred" in remarks. so in short i have 4 debts that was sold/transferred 2 to 3 times, and all of those collection agencies show up on my report. Now i finally got fed up and paid those collection agencies a total of $3200. Those collection agencies have reported those debts as "paid".
I already tried the pay to delete method and didnt work, they say that cant do that, i even tried to pay them a little extra to delete.
So my question is now that I've paid the collection agency that last had my debt, can i get the previous collection agency that had my debt from which it was "sold/transferred" from deleted?
If so how would i do so?
I want to buy an house in couple of months, so please guide me.

I'm looking for a quite cheap used car
I was actually gonna buy at least over 2004
But unfortunately I don't have enough money to buy those
cars -.-. (I have about 6000$ so far)
Anyway I found one from a guy who used it for about 6 yrs.
The car name is 2001 Nissan Sentra XE and the milieage is 74000 and he wants 4500$

What do you guys think ? Is it pretty good offer?

I'm not a Christian by any means. However, I do respect that people follow Christian religions and live by the bible. It's wonderful that they can feel so strongly.

I'm just wondering,...not in any way to offend anyone, please don't take it that way... but how are you so confident in Christian beliefs? How do you know for sure that you will be saved and I won't be because I don't have the same beliefs as you do?

I think I'm a good, kindhearted person that probably does a lot of the good natured things that Christians do. How come I am not considered to be as 'good' as you, by your standards?

I'm seriously fed up with seal meat. I mean don't get me wrong - the missus does try and add a bit of variety. I get seal shavings with ice for breakfast. Then I get seal burgers for lunch. For evening meal, I get seal lasagne - don't be fooled though, there's no bloody pasta or cheese invovled. It's just thin slices of seal meat with little lumps of seal meat in between and congealed seal fat in place of the cheese. I'm telling you - it's starting to drive me up the wall! I'd murder for a nice KFC or Big Mac but there's naff all up here. I'm drooling just thinking about it!

A friend of mine owns a small company and got behind on payroll taxes. He entered into an agreement with the IRS to pay monthly. He has kept his agreement for almost a year now without missing a payment.

Now he received a bill to him personally stating that he owes the amount of payroll taxes as an individual. Does he owe the payroll taxes twice? The agreement on behalf of his company includes the payroll taxes.

So, ever since I was young, I've been a shy person and I talked really quiet because sometimes I would get made fun of (when younger) for having a high pitched voice. I think I unconsciously began talking in a deep, monotonous voice so that I wouldn't stand out as much (from shyness, and voice insecurity) now I'm 18 and I still talk similar to how I did when I was younger...slow, monotone, and quiet. People have told me I have a monotone voice or ask me why I talk like that. Also people commonly tell me to speak up or they can't understand me because I mumble.

What is a good way to speak clearly, loudly, and with multiple tones and pitch, I'm tired of having a monotone voice. I hate it and its actually one of two of the major problems that I have with myself.

I've been reading some answers on here about prepaid credit cards and some want to say they are a complete ripoff. Oh, so credit cards aren't? They say this because of the fees. I could get a Visa Wired Plastic for $9.99 one time activation fee and $3.95 a month for maintenance. That's it. A measly $48.00 a year. Only $3.95 to reload. Same with Western Union prepaid Mastercard. Okay, why not buy a pair of $100.00 shoes, 7% sales tax, which would be $107.00 with a prepaid. With a regular credit card, they will charge something like 20%, plus they also have a minimum you pay every month. That would be $107.00 plus 20%, all to the credit card company. See the difference? Now who's the ripoff?
