I am really not a *****...but I have my friend's best interest in mind.
Okay...here it goes. I have a friend doesn't exactly smell fresh and clean all the time. She told me she doesn't shower every day, which could be the source of the problem, but she doesn't think she smells when she doesn't shower, and she says that she doesn't think it is necessary to. She also skips on deodorant sometimes, and she smells bad. How can I tell her [nicely] that she smells? Also, do you have any tips that I could give her to smell fresh and clean?

She's 17...the same age as me! I would have thought that she would have learned good personal hygiene by now, but I guess not.

just tell her the truth....be like listen i dont want to offend you in any way but i think that it is best that you shower daily and try to keep yourself clean...not only for the sake of others but for the sake of yourself...if you dont keep your body clean..then you can get serious types of infections......and so on as so on....i think that gets to the point and is not too mean...but yea thats kinda gross how old is she???

True friends can and should be honest with one another. Tell her that you don't like to be around her when she smells offensive. Be diplomatic about it, not hateful. If she doesn't get the message, you'll have to decide if you want to hang around with a smelly person.

buy her a few really good smelling body sprays
tell her guys like girls that wear fruity/flowery body spray
and then when you are spraying yourself jokingly just spray some on her

well you should not tell her and you should give her some really good lotain,purfume or something like that and say put this on every day.I got this for you because you are my friend and if you dont put on deoderent or shower quck put this on

wow i think u should just suggest to her to shower everyday cuz if she doesnt she has a faint scent but is kinda noticably and tell her she needs to use deoderant

OMG! My friend is the same way!! She makes me wanna puke! Her breath smells like a dead skunk!!! I just told her she stinks :-) She took it as a joke though...... and she still stinks.... soo... sorry... i cant help u.... but i understand :-)

get those body sprays and put it on yourself
then ''accidentally'' spray it on her
or you can ask her if she wants some
[unless she denies it]
