Since bra sizes are not standardized, you could be a 34A in one bra and a 34B in another bra.

With me, I wear a size 38C and a 38D and a 38DD... it all depends on what brand/style bra I wear.

And a 34B and a 32A are, believe it or not, the same volume cup size. Its hard to explain, but let me try...

A 38D can also wear a 40C or a 36DD.
A 34B can also wear a 32C or a 36A.

See what I mean?

Even if you get sized at Nordstroms Sears or JCPenney, there is still the fact that bra sizes do not have standardized measurements. It would be a good idea to get professionally sized though, since 80% of us are in the wrong sized bra. Whatever you do, don't get sized at Victoria Secret, I've heard a lot of bad feedback (and experienced it) of them sizing incorrectly.

You should go to a department store and get fitted by one of the ladies in the lingerie department. I read once that a woman should get fitted as much as 2x a year. The letter (A, B, C etc) is the cup size - it might vary depending on the time of the month beleive it or not, and the number is the size of your back.

The # part is the circumference of your body - the numer of inches around

The letter part is the cup size - how big your breasts are

A 34b and 32a can't both really fit you correctly. Honestly the best way to learn is to have someone fit you at the store. Don't be embarrased. They won't judge you.

Each brand and style have their size variations. The letter is the cup, maybe you're not using the right one, it happen very often to most women, just go to get fitted at the place where you buy your intimates. I had similar problem before, until I get fitted at Victoria Secrets.
