I have been wondering about evolution.?
Evolution could be a fact, as many believe, but I am left wondering...
Why do you suppose it is that ONLY primates have developed the ability to reason? Why not a feline or canine...lots of other mammals have shown themselves to be incredibly intelligent, so what kept them from evolving as mankind has?
Why only ONE "sapient" race?
A Christian would say that it is God-given, that man has "dominion" over all life on earth.
What would an evolutionist...sorry...ummm...... person who believes that life forms evolve from other, more primitive life forms tell us?
I'm truly interested in your opinion about this

(But please, spare me the insults. Insulting people who don't think the way you do does not reflect well on your intelligence, nor does it mark you as a "free thinker".
Besides, it's Monday, and I've already had to deal with my son-in-law. Trust me, you can't annoy me any worse than he does, anyhow, so it really is wasted effort....)

When men flew to the moon outside of the protective radiation shield surrounding Earth (Van Allen Belt) why didn't radiation kill the spacemen as their space-suits would have had to be made of thick lead to stop the radiation damage. Also, with this radiation in mind ,how was it possible to take photos on the moon as the radiation would have damaged (fogged)the film

When you look at the painting of course the natural instinct is to say the man on the left is older, but the truth is they are in fact the same age. The painting was created at the same time and therefore even the the man on the left appears older, he was in fact "created" at the same time as the young boy.

This is the argument with creation.

Although I tend to believe that evolution played a role (though there are admittedly faults with some of the science) I do not outright reject creationism. I still believe God created the universe, I'm just not sure he only did it 6,000 years ago. Is it not possible that God created some things in this world to appear older?

OK. Let the bashing begin.

So I met this guy online and we pretty much hit it off the first time and we would text each other or talk on the phone, he would always make me laugh and all that. I really like being with him. One day i texted him and a his ex text me back saying to leave him alone and that they're happy, so i did!
Then one day at work, I just got an im from him and started flirting, so I flirted back, it happened a few times. There were times that when i greet him he would just ignore me and there were times when he would flirt back...now I am totally confused! What is he trying to tell me?

I feel like a total freak!

I didn't really notice this until my mid twenties. I was doing paintings at a children's hospital on the room windows and sometimes noticed a sensation on my back, pain in my side, or a headache. It got so intense I stop doing the paintings. My Nephew had in eye infection and before he went to the doctors I could feel a tingle in my eye. I was doing life drawing with this woman. For about a month and a half and had a pain near my leg area and then after she said she injured herself there but it still kinda hurt. A co-worker was allergic to peanuts and was having mild hivs from them. I had a sensation in my back like when your arm or leg goes to sleep and then the blood comes back.

This is really freaking me out. Why is this happening? All this has happened before I know that the person has a problem.

I heard the market is experiencing one of the worst dowfalls in years. That homeowners are not able to afford their houses anymore.
I know that happened because lenders gave out money to less than qualified borrowers.

But how is that somebody buys a house today and agrees to pay X amount of money and now can't afford it? Isn't it a fixed interest rate?

And also how is that this can affect the whole market or the US economy ?
