Should whether or not a person is deserving of compassion be a consideration when determining whether or not to feel compassionate?

I tend to only be compassionate towards those who do their best and fail or are victims of misfortune that was out of their control.

I received a ticket for my registration being expired. Then I received a ticket for my registration not being signed. Since it is expired shouldn't that cancel out that other thing since it wasn't being used?

If dark matter comprises 25% of the universe's energy and mass total, shouldn't it be easier to find? Is it hard to find because it is....the only word that comes to mind is "Inert"....to interaction with any way we might detect it? Still, as 25% of the universe, wouldn't you expect to bump into a chunk of it now and then?

Okay. Here it is: You know how sometimes you start thinking about something and you start daydreaming. Okay well, when you day dream, you don't see anything. So my question is, if someone is daydreaming, but their eyes are open, CAN THEY SEE? Put it this way. They are sitting right in front of a tree, and their eyes are open, but thy are daydreaming. So, can that person actually SEE at that given moment. Or would they be the equivilant of a blind person because technically they are not "seeing" what's in front of them. Really think about it. And I said some pretty rude things to him. All true things, but nevertheless....things I should have kept to myself. I try to justify it by the fact that he has said some pretty mean things to me in the past, and it's a way of getting back at him. He stomped on my cell phone and broke it, then left the house and didn't come back until 4 in the morning, and slept on the couch. I left for work this morning, and he was still sleeping. (We were both drinking last night)
Has this kind of a thing happened before, and how did you get over it...or did you?

Somebody posted this on myspace. I wasnt sure if it were actually true. The funny part is, a couple of weeks ago during the full moon when the moon was big and red, people were asking questions on here thinking it were Mars. I thought it was pretty ridiculous! And most of the answers made it seem like it were impossible for Mars to ever be that close, and all of us still be living!? So whats the deal!? True or not?

Are the faithful manipulated into thinkig they have a chance?
