How to get rid of rust on my car's undercarage and body in-expensively?

Spray oil on it garden sprayer mineral spirits & used oil.

"get rid of rust" & "inexpensive" don't go together.. to actually get rid of it.. depending on whats rusted, it has to be cut out and new sheet metal welded back in. if it's undercarraige parts, then they have to be replaced..

..anybody can sandblast some rust and paint it or something.. but is that really "getting rid of the rust"??
..i don't think so.. ..just a cover up..
