Why are some jewish nomads from thousands of years ago allotted more evidence than I am?

How is that fair that some people get to see this guy walk on water, heal the sick; etc and yet God fails to demonstrate these miracles in 2007?

I think I have one or am starting to get one, because the big toe on my right foot has started to hurt on one side of the nail, but I'm not sure.

What are some ways to prevent/treat an ingrown nail? I really can't see a doctor or something because I have no health insurance and cannot afford to pay out-of-pocket.

I've gotten the typical excuses about why you need to wait so long for the Dr. to come in. But I went to a Pediatrician. (special for kids right?) and sat with my 4yr-old in the Exam room for 30 minutes and the whole time I can hear them out in the hall talking about lunch and last night's date with Tiffany.
(note to Doctors - we can hear thru that door you know...)

If the Doctor is behind schedule - then why not just leave patients in the waiting room?? why make us sit in that horrible little exam room for another 20minutes?

So - is it ok to stick your head out the door and say - Hey? Can I get some help in here or are you still pretending to be with another patient??

I am an absolutely horrible cook. It's just me and my daughter at home, and most nights I don't even make the effort. I heat up frozen chicken strips and a can of corn, slice some tomatoes, and that's dinner. Every time I try to actually make a recipe, it turns out terrible.

You're with a girl/guy, and you're not quite sure how you feel about them. You like them a lot, sure, but you wonder if theres someone better out there for you (and i don't mean just better looking, just someone more suited to you).. and so you cheat on them with a guy/girl you quite like. But this guy turns out not to be able to compare with the guy/girl you're with. Does cheating therefore make you appreciate the person you're with more?

2 or so nights ago, i dreamt that I ate my own right hand. Or rather - I was busy eating it - and then I realized that the situation was pretty out of hand. haha. But seriously, I was so freaked out because I realized my hand wouldn't grow back - I kind of gained control of the dream and traveled back in time where my hand was still in normal condition. I am right handed.

My mom has become depressed and emotionally shut off from me (and others in her life that love her) I have been trying for years to reach out to her but it seems like the more I try the higher and thicker the walls become. I'm tired and while I don't want to entirely give up on her I need to spend my emotional energy on relationships that are mutually rewarding in order to preserve my own sense of emotional health. What I want to know is how to strike this balance? I want to stay in her life and remain available in the event that she does come around, but without continuing to expect something that's not happening.
