Yes, ma'am. I have been. My brother actually drove, we're only a block away from the hospital. I ate a can of pineapple, got food poisoning, vomited so violently and so much for a solid hour that I became so severely dehydrated that I went into seizures.
Full body, full blown seizures. That was more painful then giving birth to my 9 pound son without an episiotimy. (i have no idea how to spell that word, but you get my meaning... )

yep, just not by ambulance though.....by a fast-driving friend. I was getting out of the back of a two door car that was on a slight incline & the friend who was holding the door open had gotten distracted & accidentally let go. Needless to say, gravity took over & the door closed on my face/head, broke my nose & left a huge bloody gash across the bridge of my nose while I was also bleeding profusely out of my nostrils. It was NOT pretty!! Strangely it didn't hurt though & I didn't need stitches. The doctor just applied souchers which are special little (but strong) sticky strips of gauze that just slowly pulled the wound closed. It was closed & healed up within a week or so. lol for a while there I had looked like I had gotten into a fight with the bandaged up nose & black eyes. hehehe.

You think I would have been when I broke my ankle a few months ago. But, what happened was: My mom and my sister got in the car, and my mom was driving to the hospital, and then my sister goes "Mommy, I'm hungry." So what do we do? We stop at McDonalds on the way. Lol!
