neighbors have a pond, we would like to put in a pond, except that cotton mouths would take over it. Just bought the land and need help with this problem.

I have a "guest" staying with me and she accesses all her bulk mail from my computer...She opens "everything" and responds to most everything. Also she has 1077 junk mails saved. My computer is "freezing" and doing all sorts of weird stuff. Also my accounts on myspace are being "phished" alot.. Would her opening this junk mail cause these problems?

I've found very troubling some of the comments posted by muslim participants to many R&S question, for example one question at http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjvFdmE08kVuQt4vN4gT2Kbsy6IX?qid=20070811071502AARXdD5&show=7#profile-info-6KYsf5KRaa
It is true that this is a small, unrepresentative sampling, but they are disquieting nonetheless. e.g.
- "Why are we so much in love with this world? Why do you regoice about this life when it gets shorter every hour?"
- "the ummah is drwoning into love to their life and forgetting about the more importnat afterlife"
- "We Muslims who live in the west a beset on all sides to revel in this life, and forget the next. It is a shame (..) I do wish that those who are Muslim, but don't live Islam would wear a sign around their neck, so we could tell the difference"

Another way to ask this question could be: "Why is it difficult for muslims to at least appreciate their present life at least as much as an hypothetical afterlife?"

Dem V Rep? Lib V Con? or something else? I recently read an article questioning this very thing. In it, the author points out that it is the wealthy elite who are trying to keep us divided,in an attempt to conquer us, (We The People), to maintain power. I've seen many of us passionately divided on many things, but we did come out of our respective boxes to rally against illegal immigration. None of the great moral issues of the day have ever been voted on by "we the people". The elitists have used the courts to ram a new America down our throats. If our elected officials really want to represent our values, why don’t they let us determine what those values are by referendum? They certainly aren't listening to us.
In concluding the author reveals it is more an issue of "The Elite" v "We The People" and I have to concur. Thoughts?

I have a westie who very recently (over the past 3 days) has developed 4-5 small, round, scaly bumps on her face and back. She scratches at them causing them to bleed, and on the ones she can't reach, her skin is peeling off. Of course I'm taking her to the vet as soon as possible, but I was curious as to what I'm dealing with and how much treatment she will have to go through (and I'll have to pay for ). I know westies are famous for their skin problems, but I haven't read anything about this bumps in any descriptions online. She isn't really losing her hair around these bumps, so I'm stumped. Has anyone dealt with something similar?
