That is why as a christian, I don't believe in the trinity.

Jesus is very clear, when he identified himself, not as God,
but as God's Son.

Jesus said God is Monotheistic.

The churches say the trinity is a Polytheistic, Monotheistic God.

Not all Christians consider that creed true. That Jesus is God and also sits at the right hand of his Father while being one and co-equal with himself.

Very problematic. But it is drummed into our heads. I think the Disciples of Christ do not take position. But you you attend the services you may hear trinitarian dialog.

Everything else religious has been invented and embellished by humans in their attempts to quantify and understand the unquantifiable.

To puzzle over such things is the route to madness.

why does god need a son in the first place? i think this is an absurd belief in christain and the need to wake up

it one thing we dont agree with christians.God is perfect he dont need a son or a rival.Jesus (peace be upon him) was a prophet like the other prophets.
