I had the same thing and there are several things you can try. The first is ginger candy, which you can buy at almost any whole foods or organic grocery store. I personally didn't like the taste but have heard that it works wonders for some people. Preggie Pops, sold at places like MiMi Maternity or online, are also great. I found that they worked better than regular sucking candy. Peppermint Tea helped me a lot too. My nausea got so bad I was in the ER several times and was eventually prescribed Zofran, which is usually used for Chemo patients, but was a wonder drug for me and is entirely safe during pregnancy, even the 1st trimester. So, if you try other things and nothing seems to help, talk to your Dr. There are safe alternatives to homeopathic remedies. Good luck and feel better.

I have 2 natural remedies :
1) Orange Blossom Oil: This essential oil is often called neroli.
A drop on the tongue provides relief from nausea and travel sickness.
2) Coca-Cola : There is such a high sugar content that it kills all of the bacteria and relieves a sore stomach.
Recently I was in Morrocco. I took a 2 hour bus ride on a very winding road. I felt ill and so when we stopped I bought and drank a bottle of Coca Cola (which I never buy usually) and I felt much better.
Edit : Are you feeling better today ? ((((hugs)))))

Well, by moving away from R&S, you're on the right track: You should feel better soon.
Honestly, it really depends on what's causing the nausea. If you simply ate too much, you could try Tums and lots of water. Otherwise, milk and soda crackers seem to work great for me. Ginger Ale. I forgot ginger ale.
EVERYTHING interacts in one way or another, though. It really depends on what meds you're taking. Read up on the meds in question (a quick internet search should provide you with the drug manufacturer's website) to see what nutrients and meds are known to clash with them. Better yet, simply call your neighborhood pharmacy and ask.
Good luck!

^Sip some ginger ale, eat a few plain crackers like saltines or some pretzels, Megadophilus pills or powder (health food store) can all help relieve nausea. I'm also giving you a few sites for other remedies as well. Please note even seemingly harmless ingredients can react with medication. Good luck, Feel better soon.

Long, luscious kisses. *Kisses Jack passionately*. Flat ginger ale does help but it takes a while to flatten (unless you jump up & down on it but that often leads to you tossing your cookies all over the walls). Instead, take a bat and smash yourself in the head. Nausea is hell. I can't stand it. A good concussion will often do the trick and bats don't interfere at all with other meds.
Sex is good too, but there shouldn't be much movement. Lie on your side and I'll be over in a few minutes.

Ginger.. Look at a health food store for ginger tablets... Ginger snaps (cookie aisle) or fresh ginger root (vegetable aisle)... Avoid the ginger in oil as the oil can agrivate nausea...
Peppermint.... Look for losenges (usually in the candy aisle) Drop 2-3 losenges into hat water with a smiged of lemon juice for a nice tea...
Flattened Sprite/7up... Pors some Sprite of 7up into a glass and stire most of the fizz out... sip slowly.. Have with a few saltine crackers..
Motion sickness wrist band..(Sea-Band... Get at drug store/ health food store)
A bit of plain yogurt with saltine crackers can also help...

Soothe your stomach with mint -- 1) Mix a drop or two of peppermint oil into lemonade or other juice, or 2) Make mint tea. Pour boiling water through a strainer containing some dried peppermint or spearmint. Let it sit for a few minutes, add some sugar or honey if desired, and drink.
Are you pregnant?
Sorry I couldn't resist.....

Ginger is the only one I can think of that is a natural choice and will not interact with any other medications...you can also try ginger ale, or go to your local health food store and get ginger in capsules.

Apart from the usual nausea medications, try chewing preserved ginger. It works for me, and won't interact with medication. Mint tea is also good.

Well the most natural thing that I do is drink ginger ale, and eat saltine crackers or toast with a little jelly. Just remember to sip, don't gulp, and small bites.
