I have a go-kart with 8" rims. It weighs 300 lbs without the motor. If I wanted to turn this into an EV, how powerful of an electric motor would I need? Would 7 hp be enough? I want it to be really powerful. How many car batteries would I need to power the motor for 3 hours considering I will be driving it pretty fast most of the time.

I want to use granite tile for my countertops, but I'd like to have an undermounted sink. Are the tiles thick enough to do that, and how would it look? If anyone has any pictures or sites that they could send me, that'd be great. Would this be a job better suited for solid slab granite?

We use the litter for the cat boxes (helps ALOT) w/ the smell. But my dog loves to go hunting for kitty brownies when ever he thinks i'm not looking. What worries me is that he also likes to sneak and eat the paper litter. I'm just scared that the litter is geting stuck in him and may hurt him if it builds up. Should I be worried?

Counting from my LMP I will be 14 weeks on monday.
When I was 8 weeks I had an early ultrsound due to some bleeding, they didn't mention anything about dates. I had my doctor appointment the other day and she looked at the ultrasound and changed my due date which will make me 13 weeks on Tuesday.

Since a due date is only an estimate and can be 2 weeks out either way, is it really a big deal if I stick with my calculations. I like my original due date better (valentine's day LOL) and don't want to go back a week. I am so excited about this pregnancy and ready up every week how my bub is developing etc. I know that in the long run the doctor is right but sooner or later it's all gonna be the same or close enough Right?

I could be completely wrong here, but I heard that a tan doesn't show up right away after tanning in the sun that it takes some time after. Does anyone know how much time after sun tanning does it take for the tan to show up?

My wife and I are at an impasse about our three year old daughter's bedtime routine. The routine itself is something we can manage if we can agree on how to handle it, but the real issue is that my wife thinks I'm doing it all wrong and she won't back me up. My approach works just fine when she isn't around, but of course it will never work as long as she undermines it. The kid seems to understand that and plays us against each other.

So here's my question: what's a fair way to prevent my wife from undermining my parental authority? I had a talk with her, and made no progress getting her to agree to back me up. I'm considering refusing to participate in the bedtime routine until she agrees to work with me, but I know that will just piss her off. What to do?

Do I just connect my grounding rod to the metal case/can? Or is this a copper wire that connects the neutral and grounding bars? The grounding rod should connect to the bar that is screwed directly into the can right? Then there is a jumper that connects that bar to the neutral bar? Does that sound right?
