I recently met a guy through mutual friends. We have only been around each other a few times and everytime we are, there's alcohol involved. We ended up fooling around both times (not actual sex) but now i feel absolutely horrible. Problem is, I'm one of those "dumb" girls that actually likes this guy and wants him to be interested in me too, but of course he probably doesn't have too much respect for me now. I know I need to prevent this from happening again (it's not something I do all the time, but for all he knows, I do) but is there anyway I can gain his respect or at least gain MY respect back? Should I just accept I blew it, learn from my mistakes and move on? Do real relationships ever blossom from flings or do guys lose respect for girls that fool around with them the first night they meet? Honest opinions from guys would be appreciated.

Hi there, I am located in Southern California - Orange County. Do I need to get a permit to have my central air conditioning unit replaced?
Do you know how I go about getting this done?
The unit was actually installed already but the rumor on my block is that our home owners association is after me for a permit... The unit was installed last month... I have no clue what to do here...

any ideas?

A calorimeter contained 75g of water at 16.95C. A 93g sample of iron at 65.58C was placed in it, giving a final temperature of 19.68C for the system. Calculate the heat capacity for the calorimeter. Specific heats are 4.184 for water and 0.444 for Fe.
The answer is suppose to be 381J/C but I dnt know how it was derived, can anyone explain the answer?

So, I'm not allowed to date until I'm 16.
I'll be turning 15 in october, by the way.
Just about a month ago i starting dating one particular guy.
Secretly of course.
I like him a lot but I've never met him in person. This being because I'm not allowed to date. He lives just a few blocks from my house and i can't walk to his house because of the fact that my parents don't even trust me to do that.(how lame is that)

I feel like us not being able to see eachother is holding down this relationship. Should I just breakup with him and let him be free until i turn 16?

Do you think he'll find someone new and not return to me when i'm 16? He always claims we're soulmates.

I'm not saying that we should ban midde eastern people from flights nor incarcerate them on sight. But I think we would be wasting time and funds if we start closely examining about everyone and anyone. Though politically incorrect our national governments already do this. I mean if we look at the Islamic terrorists in Russia, or the terrorist attacks in Britain and here (US), wouldn't we be wasting our limited resources (time, funds, people) if we spent close inspection of Canadian white hockey fans, Jamaicans and Native Americans? If you look at the terrorists (Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, etc.) we're screening for, they're made up of people from certain countries.
I'm not saying we should grab and begin a lengthy interrogation on these people who could be innocent - that would be terribly wrong, but it would probably be better to keep a closer eye on them (for national & international interests) then fighting terrorism aimlessly.

I've stated mine. What is your answer to the question.

We purchased a used drier from a local, small business. The drier came with a 90 day warranty and after two weeks, it sounds like it needs a new belt. The business is unresponsive and owner now ignores our calls. When we visited the store, we are told the owner is the one to talk to but he is never present. What can we do???

Not only does Hillary not want to tell us what she thinks she also feels as if hypothetical questioned should not be answered. How can you campaign if you do not answer hypothetical questions? If someone could defend her statements it would be greatly appreciated
