Please help me...i really like one of my guy friends that worked with my brother and we started talking and flirting alot. well one weekend i went to his buddies house and we were all drinkin and i was all over his friend and completly ignored him
i feel really bad about it now...after all that happened they guy i like kinda backed off
but then he went out of town for the weekend...i went on a date w/ another one of his friends
since that...he barley talks to me. and since he isnt talking to me i want him SO bad i cant stand it.
i feel like such a b**** and a whore. i told the guy i like him but he never really says anything. we have talked some since all that happened...but now it's different
and i cant get him out of my head
what can i do??? PLEASE help

This issue sometimes comes up about giving at church and deducting it from personal taxes but I don't understand the whole concept.

Basically, the question is this. If a person gives their church (a qualified non-profit organization) a donation or offering, and the person reports the gift on their income taxes, does the IRS simply just not tax the amount that was given?

In other words, does the gift increase the amount of non-taxable income?

Then, secondly, what kind of supporting documentation would the IRS require to substantiate the claim. Churches don't normally give receipts for offerings taken during service.

Please state your qualifications if you have an informed answer. Thanks.

Radioactive copper-64 decays with a half-life of 12.8 days.
(a) What is the value of k in s-1?
(b)A sample contains 28.0 mg Cu-64. How many decay events will be produced in the first second? Assume the atomic mass of Cu-64 is 64.0.

For part (a) I calculated K as .000000627 1/sec
I don't know what a decay event is and I can't figure it out in my textbook or online. If someone could please explain to me what a decay event is (is it the amount of times the balaned reaction goes to completion? is it the number of Cu atoms that decay?)

Also if you could show me how to solve part (b) or at least give me the equation you used and answer. It must be in units of decays/s. I'm assuming you use the equation ln(N/No)=-kt

Any information at all that you can give me will be extremely helpful! Thank you so much!

Construction of a lunar settlement has been the subject of intense research since the 90's. Engineers from all backgrounds, but notably Civil and Chemical engineering, have been involved all along.

The moon presents a strategic waypoint between Mars. It's a good refueling point, due to its location and low escape velocity. It's a vast mineral resource, rich in Oxygen and Iron and Titanium - all of which can be extracted from the soil and processed for use. The moon is also rich in Deuterium, which can be used to produce clean nuclear energy.

Current technological challenges seem more mundane than extraordinary. With no water, what can we use instead of concrete? The soil compact as it is - and it is extremely compact - how can we dig and drill, and build foundations? With the incredibly fine lunar dust, how can we protect machinery everytime a shuttle lands or takes off?

So, the question is, given our current condition, should we construct on the moon?
