I'm trying to make a form on a Java Applet, however I'm finding it very difficult to get the text labels and corresponding textboxes to align themselves one per line. GridLayout is what I need to use (I think) but when I use that, it adjusts my textbox components to fill the entire region of their alloted Grid cell -- not what I want. There must be an easy way to make a simple form on an Applet? Any help appreciated.

ok me and my girl been arguing alot for the past 3 days and its over stupid shyt, she just get mad at mecuz i did something and start bitchin n complainin, n its to the point i dont even wanna talk to her when shes like that...

For five-year-old Marya Aman and her father Hamdi, the respiratory ward of Alyn hospital in Jerusalem has become a prison and her terrible injuries a life sentence. She cannot leave the Israeli hospital where her father tends her round the clock — feeding her, bathing her and changing her catheters. Her father cannot leave without risking automatic deportation to Gaza and separation from his child. He has a permit to be with his daughter w/ no other rights in Israel so he will not go for a stroll outside the hospital, let alone pop out for a coffee, for fear of being arrested. He has no money. Without the help of kind-hearted Israelis, he would have gone hungry. Now the Israeli Govt. is trying to get out of paying lifetime medical support.

for example. My neice is only 3 1/2 yrs old, and she speaks in sentences and is learning how to read already. I think this is because my sister has put her in day care since she was very little. Not only that, but my sister is constantly speaking to her and teaching her new words..
compared to my neighbors that have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter, in which the kid doesnt even know how to say a word. all she does is mumble and make sounds like if she was 1, and when my neighbor tries sitting her down to show her an object and the name, the little girl avoids it completely. by now she should be saying comprehensible words, even if they're not sentences.
do you think the parents have to do with this learning ability?

My mom and I were riding today and I was trying to remember the sentence that you type for practice when you wanted to get your typing speed up. We thought and thought. I remembered only one word from the sentence. Then she finally remembered and she's 79 1/2!!!! Anyway, can you remember the well-known sentence that you would type over and over again for speed practice in school or typing school? In my youth, this would be done on the old Remington, Underwood, or IBM selectric typewriter, etc.

It was not How Now Brown Cow, that was for pronunciation practice.

well, i broke up wiyh my bf nearly 5 months ago.
the trouble is tht i just get times every so often when i just miss him, we decided to be friends and we kept on txting eachother (i got more txts from him after we broke up than when we were together)but then we just cut off he sttoped txting i did as well, but i know he is ok because i have a friend who knows him. i also know tht is not normal to have more txts when we broke up than when we were together and i know he is an ex 4 a reason but i just miss him.......

I am trying to find a place somewhere in New England, preferably Central or Eastern MA or southern NH, where I could hold a function...

But it has to look southern. I mean like the big old plantation style homes with two level porches the length of the house, etc. Think Gone With the Wind.

The sort of place that hosts/allows weddings and the like.
