last time when we had contact he said tht he is going to have an op. done to take some teeth out cause they were hurting and sid tht he's going to b in hospital 4 a few days. i offered to come and see him in the hospital but he sid tht i don't have to come all the way there cause is quite far even by car. any way after a few days when i knew tht he should be in hospital i rang a hospital without knowing where he is or wht hopital he is in but my luck was tht i rang the wright hospital and they said tht tit was a guy in the same day as he had his apoint. with the same name as his and at the same time but he was dischacrged in the same day. why would he lie to me if we were not together he would not gain anything from it just me disliking him more .

Look at the reasons why you broke up and then decide if you could overcome those problems and if overcoming them would be worth it. It's natural to miss someone, but you broke up for a reason.

I think you're reading too much in to those text messages.

I would say you screwed up by keeping contact after breaking up because no one that has broken up can be friends. It simply defies nature. There will always be one person that is fine with being friends and one person that still has all the feelings in the world for the other person. It seems like you are way too attached to him still to be friends. I would recommend finding someone new as soon as possible to fill the void you are feeling and I also believe it would help you get over him. However, the only way you will ever get over him is to have a clean break from him and do not contact him anymore.

If you broke up 5 months ago why haven't you moved on? Sounds like he has. He's lying to you, you know that for sure now. Let him go and move on.

I was in a 12yr relationship and it took me atliest one year to stop thinking about him. There is nothing wrong with missing someone that was once in your life and it takes some time to get used to them not being around anymore, just give yourself some time and you will find that you will be thinking about him less and less.
