My bf left for the beach without me this morning (1 1/2 drive) and now I can't meet up with my friends at the beach like I had originally planned. I'm feeling really bored, alone, and bummed out. I'm also broke, so that rules out a lot of activities.

I don't want to go to college any more.

I'm sick of the crap.

Money spent, classes dropped, bullshit grades...


I want to make art, but that sounds like a hit or miss sort of thing..... we all know it.

if your art sucks, that means no money....


i do have a -day job- but with my spare time, i really want to make paintings for enjoyment and sale.

I work with horses and enjoy taking pictures at competitions, but shutter lag with my current camera makes it difficult to get good shots, not to mention the lack of zoom.

I'd like to upgrade to a DSLR, but don't want to spend more than $800. I've heard a lot about the Nikon D40, but wanted to get others opinion. I have no real preference to brand, although i've mainly had Canons in the past.

I'd like to take out a loan to pay for a holiday to Australia next year with some friends. I need about £2000.

Unfortunately I have a really bad credit rating, after living off credit cards a few years ago while unemployed, and not being able to pay them back at the time.

Those debts are long since paid off and I have had a reasonably well paid, stable job for the last three years, so I would have no problem keeping up any repayments. However, I'm still being refused even the most basic credit cards and store cards, and my bank recently refused to increase my overdraft, which isn't exactly generous as it is.

Can anyone tell me how I should go about getting this loan, or getting a credit card?

Also, if it would make it easier, my parents say they would be willing to act as guarantors; how does this work?

I'm going to get a pair of Nautical Star tats, I'm just trying to figure out the placement. I thought about just below my elbows, but a friend, that I just met back up with, got his done there about a month ago, & me wanting to be unique, am having to think of a new spot for them. I was thinking about my ankles but not sure. I want to be able to "hide" them if necessary *& yes, you can hide them if they are below your elbow*. Any suggestions?
And if you're going to say, girls with tats look nasty or trashy, etc. Don't bother wasting your time typing out a response, because your opinion on whether or not you like chicks with tats was not asked. The opinions I'm looking for are on placement, not likes. If you don't like it, trust me, you won't ever see it!

My vet said my 10 month old Bichon and at the time my 2 month puppy, were the right weight, but suggested I stop free feeding or they will get fat. I think that feeding them at one time or twice will make them fight for food and be gluttons when the food is offered for a short time. I disagree with the vet. Am I wrong?
