In german, "Sport Leicht", sports light. I have no idea why they would call them this: at nearly two tons, they are neither light, nor are they sports cars. They are GT touring cars, and pretty heavy at that. Compare to the contemporary Porsche 911, which was under 2500lbs.

sport lightweight just like in the slk it stands for sport lightweight coupe i think? im not sure aboyt the k but i am the sl
