As if overcoming the born-in-the-south, lawbreaking, "gotta git this hooch 'livered 'fore-Paw comes home" stigma wasn't enough. Now every time I hear ANYTHING, it's about how Bubba-Ray or Billy-Ray or Jimmy-Joe or Bobby-Joe wouldn't comply with instructions issued by race officials. What gives? C'mon fellas. We're rushing headlong into the 21st century here. If you're gonna keep up with the rest of society, you have to stop acting like something out of a Jerry Springer episode. There's not too much room in the future for hyper-rich, egotistical Bubbas throwing tantrums at over 200mph. (Ooops, I'm sorry. F1 is over 200mph. That's too fast for Bubba.)

Is there a Laptop I can buy for under $1000 that has a really good video card for watching HD movies and a little gaming? ... Im looking to spend $800, but all the laptops I see come with either the Go 6100 and Media accelerator 950. Both of these are horrible. My mom has a 6100 in her laptop and cant play 720p movie trailers smoothly.

With the deforestation of many forest for logging (Tasmania) and clearing of land for Palm Plantations what are peoples views.
I am against clearing anymore land for reasons of the enviroment.
These places in long term will gain more jobs through eco-tourism than logging. What are your views.

It was very late at night when Jim Jnr pulled up at the only hotel in town and asked for a room.
"I'm sorry, sir, all the rooms are taken, there's a county fair here tomorrow."
Horrified at the thought of having to travel further, Jim pleaded with the man for somewhere to stay.
"Well..." said the owner, "we do have a spare bed but it means you'll have to share a twin room with one of our local residents and he snores so badly you'll never get any sleep."
"Don't worry, I'll sort it," said Jim and off to the room he went.
Next morning Jim came down to pay his bill, looking well rested.
"Everything alright, sir, you weren't disturbed too much?"
"Oh no, not at all. Before I went to sleep, I went over to the other man who was still awake, gave him a kiss on the forehead and wished him, "Pleasant dreams darling." and he stayed awake all night watching me!"

If you could buy scrubs cheaper, would you?
First of all I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this question or not. But any way here it goes:

If you could buy your scrubs cheaper than you do now, would you? I mean they are not name brand scrubs or anything like that. They would be home made, the color that you want and so on and so forth. You could even pick out the material that you wanted your scrub made with. All I want to know is if they were cheaper and was made good, would you buy them?

The reason I am asking this, is because I am thinking very seriously about making scrubs to sell. I was looking in stores a couple of days ago for scrubs for a new job that I am going to get. I was very shocked as to how much they are. I got to figuring it up and realized that I could make them, in most cases a lot cheaper than the stores sell them. Does any one think this would be a good ideal? No I am not advertising either, just wondering if it would work or not, if it is worth trying or not?

For about $20-$30? I want to know from personal experience though, because I want to get a good, long lasting one. All I really need is an ice shaver though.

Hi, this summer is basically the transition between my sisters childhood to adulthood. My sister is also moving out towards the end of this month, and up until now, I am just realizing, that this is it. My sister is growing up and she needs to start her life somewhere else.

She is moving to the College of William & Mary on the 24th. I mean, it isn't that far since my family is in Fredericksburg, which is about 70 miles away. However it is just like, I am going to miss her when she moves out and goes to college.

My sister was never really a social butterfly, and she never really spent that much time associating with me in childhood, but I know that she is really a homebody and doesn't like being that far from home. I am wondering if these thoughts of like, "This is it, she's growing up" and "In a few years I'm growing up and moving on too" are normal, since it seems now that my childhood, just like her's is coming to an end, and I am transitioning into adulthood.

Is it normal?
