I think it just seems like women like hairy pets more than men because they listen to you, and you can talk to them about almost anything without the added commentary. And one of those things that women talk to their pets about is men. Suffice to say women do like men just not the way that women like their pets.

Care to DEFINE 'hairy pets' ... ? That one leaves the door WIDE open ... there are some 'hairy pets' that don't have any legs that I'd have no problem being around ... then there are 'pets' ... don't like 'pets' ...

No, would women be able to live without men. NO. they'll tell you it themselves. I guarantee they'll live without some hamster or something. Men play a HUGE role in womens life.
